It seems to be a generic Carenado issue. The Aeroplane Heaven c140 is similar in performance and configuration to the c170 but is very stable to land. Which you would expect. A wheel landing in a tailwheel aircraft of well under 100 HP should not be massively different to landing a standard tricycle aircraft on the main wheels, at least until the tail drops.
