Fenix A320 fault please help

Hi Wined2310, I can assure you it was taken in flight. So is it a case of pressing switches to remedy this ? Or is it done in the MCDU? thanks

If that was taken in flight, then you definitely need to check your mappings. As Wined2310 says, the display is suggesting that you have your reversers deployed, which is not a good idea when off the ground. How do you have your reversers mapped? Do you activate them by pulling the levers back beyond IDLE or do you have a button to hold/toggle that activates them?

The only other possible cause i could think of, might be that the fenix app has faulted or somehow disconnected from your flight. That might explain why you are getting zero altitude, the park brake, reversers and the fuel warning being on, when you were in flight.

I’d be getting over to the discord channel with this one, if I were you.

Hi Hawkmoth
You know I think I will, I’m far from stupid Wouldn’t by choice put the park brake on. Ha. Thanks for your help I’ll go over there now.

@Wined2310 , the lower ECAM display suggests that only 30kg of fuel has been used, which would suggest that the displays probably froze very soon after start-up, maybe when the aircraft was being reversed out of it’s parking location, the old-fashioned way or maybe just started with misaligned throttle levers.

@Theclaw2001 There are reports on the discord, of such display freezes and it looks like using the restart button, within the fenix app is a commonly suggested solution. Quite what causes it and why only some users get it is interesting. Maybe anti-virus or other software interfering? Worth a try, either way, when it happens again.

Hi all, well tried it again tonight and yes, the plane froze. mouse pointer still moved but the plane didn’t respond to anything I did. But the game itself was fine. So must be something to do with the Fenix data. Thanks very much for your help today.

Did you try restarting the Fenix App with the ā€˜Restart’ button?
