argh, when is MS/Asobo going to enable it !! FR has got it in for approval, the Foxmoth and the Spittys work, please enable it , I have 2024 working well and can’t go back to 2020.. it just takes up to much real estate, well with all the mods I just have to have anyway heeh.

How does this compare to other similar aircraft? In particular Ant’s Tiger Moth? I have been considering getting an open cockpit aircraft from this era and I have bee n looking at the Tiger Moth, Klemm 25, Jungmann, Stearman and maybe the Chilton. This Gypsy Moth looks to be similar to the Tiger Moth but a bit faster. Surprisingly none of the usual suspects on Youtube have a review of the Gypsy Moth.
The Gipsy is finally working in 2024 !!
Babybio9370, it is very simple and easy to fly, very slow but I love flying it.
The GAS Stearman is very good, a bit faster and a little bit harder to fly if you think that you would tire of the Moth, Ants’ Tiger moth is just amazing as well. Just get them all !

sadly Im not seeing it in the hangar. told be I could enable it, enabled it, no show.
Its shown up in mine at last …lovely plane to fly!

If you have other Flight Replica planes, check under that plane’s variants. I have all available Flight Replicas planes for 2024 (Fox, Cub, Gypsy Moth, Seafire, etc.), and they’re all lumped together in 2024 as variants under a single Spitfire thumbnail.

I second that. IMHO its the the best flying biplane I have flown so far in 2024. Yaw behaviour, adwers jaw, drag all very good. Makes it predictable and easy to fly. I like it better than the fury or even ants moth in tha regard. Sound could be a bit more spicy imho. Love it very much.

Can someone help with a manual please. I bought this on the MP so don’t have the included manual. Flight Replicas site doesn’t work properly, I get a 404 error when I try to download the manual from there.
403 ‘Forbidden’ error for me when I try to download the manual. Actually their whole website seems a bit borked with a ton of broken images. I shot them an email to see what’s up. While I wait can someone tell me how to get the engine started from cold and dark? I looked all over for a hidden switch or button starter or method to pull the prop but couldn’t find anything and had to resort to ctrl-e. It’s probably staring me right in the face and I’ll feel stupid when someone tells me how it’s done

Seems you actually do have to use Ctrl-E to start the engine which I find very disappointing considering how other devs have managed to implement hand-propping systems.

It really is a nice flyer. It features an altitude and heading hold. It’s a nice addition to the biplane collection.
