Flights logged dropped from logbook

The only reasonable explanation I can come up with, is that this sim eats log entries for breakfast.

I’ve kept my own log, to keep track of the disappearing entries, and out of the last ten flights I’ve made, three are logged in the sim. 3 out of 10!

They seem to be logged at first, but after a restart, they start to disappear. New beta version yesterday, restart the sim, another log entry lost. When I turned off the sim yesterday 4 out of my last 10 flights were logged. Start the sim today, another was lost. Mad.

Can those of you reporting this issue confirm with you are using Developer Mode within the sim? It could well be that having this mode enabled prevents flights from logging in the logbook. Our test team were unable to reproduce the reports whilst having Developer Mode disabled in the sim.

I’m on a Xbox Series S, and not using dev mode (I don’t think that’s even available on Xbox?).

I have not used Dev Mode in most of the flights over the past two weeks, two releases and I am still losing logged flights. A flight gets logged today, then disappears the next day when a new flight comes along, or something like that. To confirm this, I will not enter Dev mode in .13, even to activate the frame counter and will rely on the frame rate data in the Nvidia app overlay.

Thanks for the updated information. I’ve fed this back to the development team to see if they can take another look!

Dev-mode off too.

Yesterday I made 2 flights in the CT182T and today only one remains. That said, let the above serve as a baseline for how this goes in .13

Dev mode was not on for me either.

End of day yesterday’s logbook. Note the last flight of the day, Max KMSP-KIAD…

Today’s logbook after a Max flight from KSAN to KDEN. Where did 4/16’s KMSP-KIAD go?

It would appear that the last flight of the previous day gets dropped off?

As a reminder, I’m not entering Dev mode during .13 to suss this defect out. I am using the Nvidia stats overlay to view frame rates and latency, etc.

So, I closed 2024 to do something in 2020 briefly, closed that and opened 2024…

And here is the logbook after reopening 2024…

My completed KSAN-KDEN flight from earlier today no longer appears, and…

A 4/15 flight in the C82Q has reappeared! It was missing yesterday and earlier today.

I’ve lost every single flight since the 9th. I’ve noted them being logged, but then they disappear:

Lost Everything After the past 24 hours all the way back to April 13. Still have 1 flight logged past 24 hours, but like the other previously logged flights, I’m sure too that it will also disappear.

Do you have the same issue if you follow the OP’s steps to reproduce it?
• Similar issue - logging in today, one of my three flights yesterday has disappeared from the log

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:

If relevant, provide additional screenshots/video:

Do you have the same issue if you follow the OP’s steps to reproduce it?
• Yes

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
• Start sim and do a free flight. After landing the flight will not be logged. After restarting the sim, flight is missing in logbook.
• Do flight an then do a second flight without restarting the sim. If finished look at your logbook. Both flights will appear and be saved in the cloud.

I also suspect that it has something to do with the aircraft used.

Just started a session. I did one flight yesterday (18/4/25) which was listed in the logbook yesterday. That flight is no longer visible in the logbook.

This is in the latest beta 1.4.14.0.
Just ran a further series of tests:
Started Sim
Did 4 sequential flights starting at:
12:00
12:06
12:15
12:22
All visible in the Logbook in the app
Shut down and restarted Sim
All still visible in Logbook
Did two flights at:
12:33
12:37
All 6 flights still visible in the logbook
Shut down and restarted Sim
One flight had disapeared - 12:33, i.e. the first flight of the 2nd session.
Shut down and restarted Sim
Logbook remained in the same state - 12:33 flight was missing.

Just completed a flight today in the latest beta, and the previous 3 flights I made on the 9th, 12th and 19th have disappeared from the logbook. They were there immediately after each flight, but are now gone. They are recorded correctly in Volanta and LNM.

Revisiting the release notes and wondering if what they had to do for Career mode has an impact on the logbook? Note the last sentence below…

I finally had a flight logged since the 9th:

I haven’t flown since the 18th (pre 1.4.14.0 release, so the flight was with 1.4.13.0), as I’ve been unwell, so I don’t know if that flight will disappear once I do another flight, but this is the first I’ve seen logged in quite some time.

Flights are still getting logged and most are disappearing. Have not activated Dev Mode since before the last two beta releases, so it’s still happening.
