I am loving this little beast.I was a Fokker (And Boeing) A&P for USAir and spent a lot of time around the F28 and F100 (REALLY looking forward to the 100). As the OP stated, JF nailed the visuals. Even the cabin. It flies great. I am getting a bit of a ‘bobbing’ in HGT mode but I may have something set wrong. It has been many years, so I am sure I have forgot more than I remember after all.
One interesting thing on landing, the Speys are slow to spool up, which is why you always deploy the speed brake on final. If you need to go around, retracting the speed brake gives you near instant climb response, rather than a slow response from advancing the throttles.
If anyone is on the fence with this, you probably should jump in and get it. You will get many hours of enjoyment from her.
