Guys, it states the release of the patch will be ANNOUNCED on the 27th, not released on 27th

As I understand they are going to patch it to bring back the watermarks

That has been there since the day the sim released. It is a UI bug. It represents the core content you have already installed. The same bug existed in the alpha.
Am I reading this right? That’s a 79.80 update?
There was a forum post yesterday directly from one of the developers at Asobo that said they have found the cause of one specific bug - the one causing stutters when external clients connect via simconnect.
The developer said they are working quickly to create a patch to fix just that one particular bug. It is probably a top priority right now because the bug is keeping the Vatsim partnership from working properly.
THAT patch could conceivably release at any time - just as soon as it has been tested, and confirmed not to break other unrelated functions. I would bet that when that patch is ready, it will automatically download and install at the “checking for updates” prompt when launching the sim.
But the “big patch” that everyone is looking for, the one that will fix every known bug, repaint your house, walk your dog and give your wife a new set of boobs will not be coming on Thursday.
But, after Thursday we should know the date when it will be coming.
Hello! I’m closing this thread to not continue to stir rumors. As stated, the 27th update will provide more details/date for the patch currently being worked on. Thanks!
