FS2024 - How to save an EFB Flight Plan with Flight Conditions

Note that this is only for saving a Flight Plan prior to 
clicking "Start Flight". 
## Not during flight ##

I like to have a Flight setup, like my test flight, with 
Flight Conditions (month-day-year, time, clear sky) that I 
can load and fly anytime. 
 (1PM and summer, clear sky)
 (Live Air Traffic & Multiplayer Off) 

1. Setup your Flight Conditions

        1a. Time will be UTC until you select a Departure 
            Airport.
            KJFK
            Click Flight Conditions.

        1b. Check the Preset box.
            13:14 (1:00 PM) (change to 13:00 in the .FLT file) 
            July 4, 2024 (you can change in the .FLT file)
            Click Clear Skies (you can change in the .FLT file)

        1c. Choose Air Traffic and Multiplayer as you wish.

        1d. Save and Back.

2. Setup your Flight Plan via the EFB
        
        2a. Display the EFB
            For Departure Airport, click Add Departure
            Enter KJFK then click the name below
            Select your runway (31R)
            Click the Add Departure box if you want a SID
              Note: Those SIDs are weird.

        2b. For Destination Airport, click Add Arrival
            Enter KEWR then click the name below
            Select your runway (22R) This is direct - ILS 22R.
            Click Change Procedure for a different arrival
               LOC, RNAV, VFR 
            Click Add Arrival if you want a STAR

3. Save Flight Plan to this PC
        Click Load / Save Plan File on the EFB
        Click Save to this PC   
            My FS2024 is installed on K:\FS2024 

            Flight Plans are stored in the LocalState folder  
              K:\WpSystem\S-1-5-21-2997017442-1106904157
               -1831008082-1001
               \AppData\Local\Packages
                \Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState
                 \my KJFK to KEWR.PLN

4. Get the associated .flt file for this Flight Plan
        Which, in FS2024, is only the Flight Conditions 
        These are stored in.
        K:\WpSystem\S-1-5-21-2997017442-1106904157-1831008082
           -1001
           \AppData\Local\Packages
            \Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState
             \MISSIONS\Custom\CustomFlight\CustomFlight.FLT

5. Copy the CustomFlight.FLT file to the \LocalState folder.

6. Rename the file the same name as the .PLN file
        You now have 2 files for this Flight Plan.
        \LocalState\my KJFK to KEWR.PLN
        \LocalState\my KJFK to KEWR.FLT

7. You have to load both files but it is easy.
   
        7a. Load the .FLT file
            Click Load / Save Plan File on the EFB.
            Click Load from this PC.
            Type *.* in the preselected box.
            Click my KJFK to KEWR.FLT

        7b. Load the .PLN file
            Click Load / Save Plan File on the EFB
            Click Load from this PC.
            Click my KJFK to KEWR.PLN

8. Get ready to fly
        File Plan with the ATC if desired.
        Send Route to Avionics if desired.
        Close the EFB.
        Click Start Flight.

Note 1: You can edit the .FLT file for month, day, year, time.
          Weather modification is not required in FS2024
          to display the Cloud Icon

Note 2: You can save additional .PLN files and use this 
        .FLT file if you wish.
        But, I would name it Summer-1PM.FLT or Summer-Night.FLT
             or Winter-Snow.FLT or Multi.FLT

Note 3: You can load the .PLN file but will have your current
        PC date & time and undetermined Flight Conditions.

Note 4. You can load just the .FLT file to set you Flight 
          Conditions and then do what you want.
