Added the FlyingFries Blackshape Gabriel. After testing, it is definitely a compatible, not native aircraft. Moved to the compatible table. Not out on MP yet.
Speaking of that, I forgot to mention I added the MP column to each table indicating which ones are in the FS2024 marketplace!
Yesterday, FlyingIron (theyâre alive!) sent out a massive changelog for the Spitfire Mk IXc, including fixes for the audio issues in FS2024. This new version 1.4.2 is out to folks who bought directly, not sure of other vendors yet. Iâll update its entry in the list to be developer confirmed.
Confirmed version 1.2.0 was released and has FS2024 fixes. Also, the Blackbird C310R was updated with FS2024 fixes! Added both to Compatible. I made sure to indicate they are not officially compatible until Blackbird confirms.
Added F7 Simulations Eagle S100 to Compatible/Marketplace
Added Got Friends Mini-500 to Compatible/Marketplace. Updated DoubleEnder, Wildcat, Gee Bee R3 Special, Astro One, Discus-2C and Wilga 35/80 Series to Marketplace compatible.
Added the iniBuilds BF-108 and P-40F Warhawk to Compatible (side note, their iniRacing iniR24 is also now compatible.)
Added Rara Avis Sims Bulldog Autogyro, English Electric Wren, Flying Flea, Horten IX V3 (HO 229) to Compatible (I think this was from a prior update and I missed adding them properly!)
Added Sim Solutions Diamond DA-20 to Marketplace, but be aware that the non-MP version has a broken C&D start, not sure if itâs also broken in the MP
Just a little addendum for this one: while the BF-108 Taifun can be flown in FS2024 there is a problem with the engine sounds in the cockpit. They only play the audio of one low RPM power setting at all times. Absolutely no change in sound with any prop pitch or throttle settings. The external engine/prop sounds work fine, though.
Can anyone confirm whether or not these issue also affect the Marketplace release? I mean, it starts and it flies, but with major issues like that it canât really be called compatible. If the Marketplace has the same version (it seems to be 1.0.3. as well, according to the description) itâs definitely mislabled and NOT compatible.
Itâs an absolute joke. It takes weeks and months until things show up in the Marketplace and then something like this is marked as FS2024 compatible in the store? Really makes you wonder what takes so long to put products online in the Marketplace, because testing them is most definitely not it.
Thatâs the tricky thing about maintaining a list like this. If I donât own it, I kind of have to take the word of the publisher or developer when they say itâs compatible. And weâre all learning together that compatible can mean entirely different things to different devs. At the very least, I would hope it means âit loads in and doesnât crash the simâ but even that seems to be a YMMV situation with some addons, sadly.
Updated the SWS RV-14/14A from Community confirmed to Publisher verified (Compatible.) Not sure when it happened, but I realized it was listed as compatible when I checked Orbx this evening.
Not an update to the list, but a compatibility update worth noting from Blackbird Simulations:
MV310R 2.1 Beta is available:
-Fix crash of panel instruments when starting in FS2024
FS2024 does not currently support linkage of ATC ID to individual livery.
Therefore FS2024 aircraft save/restore and error status is same for all liveries, as ATC ID is ignored.
-Fix failure of Transponder to power on. For best results, have Avionics switch off when turning on Battery Master. Rarely, if the transponder still fails to power on, user should restart the flight.
-Cold and dark, Transponder always powers on in STBY.
Please also note, the autodetect was removed from the installer due to people with only MSFS 2024 not being able to install. You must browse to your folder to select the location.
Papsed Skylark has been streamed to MS2024 but the instruments on the Cockpit Panel are blank. This is even after the most recent update to this aircraft in MSFS 2020. I see no one has commented on this before.
