T45C up and flying

Looks a little low and no engines

This might sound silly , but my aircraft selector is stuck in top corner of 2nd monitor and I can’t get it back to main monitor :upside_down_face:
Any suggestions

T-33 have to fix canopy one day. Flys ok

Fixed the Aircraft Selector-It was a DUUHHHH moment.
P-40 funny how some just convert over without too many problems. Some come in with no engines this one has 2, must be inline

Still nobody up to the Challenge" of getting the FSX RADAR to work in MSFS,

Its just a very simple FIXED plane !!! How difficult could that be. Towers do NOT need to fly !!!

Unfortunately, as simple as it may be, it would seem I am even more simple .. I don’t have a clue about how to do it myself. :pensive:

I’m pretty sure it’s not ‘just’ an aircraft. It’s an aircraft of which no aircraft is modelled, and has a very limited flight model. So far, that seems very easy.

But the radar itself is not easy at all, and I don’t think you can ‘just’ port it. Seen most cockpits are non functional in this thread, my guess it’s very hard even. Possibly it’s even simpler to just build it from scratch.

From my understand the Radar consist of a number of 2D Gauges, programmed in XML, that access a radar.dll - whose source was never released.

So is the issue that the Dll will probably not be MSFS compatible ? (simconnect)

I would have thought that it should be easy enough to re-write the 2D XML gauges as MSFS compatible gauges in html / js.

The radar.dll would therefore appear to be the sticking point.

But no doubt, some addon developer will soon bring out a MSFS addon, assuming Asobo proved a SDK to their Multiplayer system.

But at the end of the day, no Multiplayer SDK might mean no MP for MSFS ???

I tried to port of a object and soon as I clicked it said no aircraft.cfg. So maybe have to try as something else. I’ll try again.

This may have been covered but tell me again why I see the plane in this picture but it isn’t in the Hanger.

Tried in FSX and has some serious issues-might be the problem

Did you go and park your aircraft on a New York street overnight ??
You are lucky they could only carry off were the wheels !!

XML → HTML converter already implemented in Legacy Importer, even if it on early stage of development. but fact that some DLL is required for normal work makes it impossible to import it into MSFS properly.

however, I can take a look, where I can find this addon?

Ref: A MSFS Radar.

Just discovered “Little NavMap” – ( better late than never !!)

This has the Potential of being the basis for a far better Radar than FSX ever had !!!
Configured for the purpose, it does everything that the FSX radar, or FsNavigator use to do, and a lot more.

The only obvious thing that may be missing, is the Squawk Code on the Plane tags, but to date, I have only scratched the surface of learning the details of the program for its original purpose, let alone as a “Approximation” to a ATC Radar station.

I don’t think I will ever need to turn on the MSFS “VFR Map” again !!!

Is that Firefox?

So I’ve got the Real Air Beech duke flying in the sim pretty well, most of the gauges work pretty well but some are missing, which I don’t understand as they are .XML gauges stored in a .CAB file. From my understanding .XML gauges should work in MSFS (the textures for said gauges are .bmps saved in the .cabs as well) What can I do to fix this?

Finally got the P-38 90% working, along with gauges. Only problem is I have to start in the air. She flys great and lands. Once I come to a full stop I’m done. Any suggestions on what is causing it to be landlocked? I notice when I hit the “Pause” button it will jump sometimes maybe move a few feet.
