Hi Henrik, a couple of weekends ago I spent a very enjoyable (and very long) day on the Waverley, the world’s last sea going paddle steamer, travelling from Clevedon down the Bristol Channel to Lundy Island.
Along with the Kingswear Castle, she is maintained by the UK based Paddle Steamer Preservation Society, who run cruises around different parts of the UK coast.
The Waverley is a beautiful vessel and if she is not already in your collection, I wondered if she might get there, along with the Kingswear Castle.
The trip also included the Penarth pilot being transferred to the Waverley in the dark, which would be cool to see!
