You don’t really need to move the actual binary from your main ssd as that’s just about 2-3 gb in size. It’s the content directories that take up more than 100-150 gb.

I have just moved MS FS 2020 to another drive successfully via this video. Someone has said that this doesn’t remove everything but I can assure you it does as there is no trace of it on the drive that I moved it from which was my C drive. It didn’t take all that long for me maybe an hour. I didn’t watch it doing it but did something else and when I came back it had finished which was around about an hour.

Has anyone managed to move the MSFS file to another drive via Windows Settings?

Here you go. This works for me. But there is always a chance that something may go wrong. Moving it via windows manager may not work as expected. But i haven’t tried it myself.
