Honeycomb Bravo 10 degree bug/fix causing more grief

Sorry for being thick here, but I don’t think I understand what you say here. Are you saying that the control assignments for button 19 has been renamed from “HDG chosen” to “SelectHeading BUG” and button 13 from “right knob incr.” to “Plus and Minus”, but I don’t think that’s it, right? Is there maybe a screenshot you could share? Thanks!

No worries, my explanation was pretty bad english

My previous assignment due to the problem with the increments was that I had removed all constantly set buttons from my Honeycomb devices as they were the reason for this bug to trigger. I then used for example “Heading increment” and “Heading decrement” which also moves the heading bug (not the issue-bug this time) and assigned it to a button press combination. Therefore I clicked on this assignment, and moved the left rotary knob on my Bravo Throttle Autopilot to “HDG” (which is the button No 19 on the device) and immediately after I turned the right rotary knob to the right (button 13 on the device). This results in a button combination that was not recogniced as a “held assignment” and therefore did not trigger the 10/1000 increments bug but turned the heading (and all the others like OBS, Altitude, Baro setting, speed) in single increments.

Unfortunately Asobo missed to connect the acceleration when such a knob is turned to all these “increase/decrease” assignments and so I was only able to turn the bugs and selections very slowly, one degree or 100ft per detent of the rotary knob.

Now, since they have fixed the bug, it’s possible to set the left rotary selector to the settings “Select Heading Bug” , “Select Altitude Bug”, Select Airspeed Bug", “VOR OBS” and “Select VSI Bug” and the right rotary knob to “plus” and “minus” under Miscellanious. These two functions will enable the acceleration when the right knob is turned quickly.

I hope this makes it clearer now. I can’t help you with a screenshot because I personally have to use a third party assignment tool called “Axis and Ohs” because I also have another AP panel which I prefer to use for all aircraft which I don’t fly in VR and it’s not possible to assign one device in the sim and one externally but I have to mix it weirdly so the assignments don’t disturb each other lol. Nevermind, with the explanation above you should get it sorted, if you need help just ask.

Quick related and UN-related question: i put down MSFS for the last 4 months hoping that the 10 degree fix, the lighting issue with alpha and the trim wheel problem and throttle 2 issue, was going to be fixed either by the vendor or microsoft.

Has any fixes been applied or do we still have to jump-thru the hoops to get this usable?

10 degree issue is fixed
Bravo throttle #2 is fixed
Lighting issue is fixed if you download and install the driver from either Aerosoft or Honeycomb
Trim wheel is now really sluggish due to 10 degree fix

So, 3 out of 4 is fixed

Well I don‘t know anything about a trim wheel problem and throttle two issue but I assign several things outside of the sim. The trim wheel on my honeycomb bravo is assigned via a script here so not sure what the problem would be in the sim sry. Regarding the trim I only know that if you hold it down it gets accelerated but the wheel isn‘t held down.
