Do you have a way of changing it’s function or is it fixed to the gns knobs you show it that video? The beauty of the knobster is it functions for any rotary control.
Yes I can assign different tasks to different aircraft/profiles in spad.next, I will assign it to do the most tricky things you need to use a mouse for in the vc. When I get time I will also check out other software, as spad.next is 12 month subscription, ideally I would be happy to buy one off software, AxisAndOhs maybe I’ll try the demo.
I’m not that way. I do use the logitech panels for most of my switching and AP controls, but the touchscreen of the Echo makes handling coms/nav freqs a breeze,. even easier than using the knobs of a real Garmin Unit (though you can do it that way on the Echo too if you prefer).
I’d definitely be interested in the Echo if it were compatible with xbox. I have multiple ipads and phones laying around but like that little box better. Just about everything I need in flight for GA can be handled by the TB V1, I just want the box for working the Garmin(and the radio stack in older planes).
Just an update, the small button box is working great, decided to get a small screen, so now work starts on building a case probably not as good as the bought units but hopefully will have the same functionality.
Didn’t take me long as I already had the coding and only needed to rewire, just awaiting couple of panel mounts for the cables and toggle zoom in/out button to install, overall a nice improvement.
