I think they mentioned at release of su3 beta that download/installing wasn’t fully functional, which I guess is why we see these issues, but begs the question why implement something if it’s not ready, beta or not.

Yeah I get that, but they said it’s not fully functional, so why not release it when it is for testing purposes. Just saves all the obvious issues they would likely have been aware of being reported. That’s my take anyway

Close MSFS 2024 SU3_beta
Open Xbox Insider Hub app
Click Previews
Under Joined Click Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Beta > Manage > Leave preview
By any chance are you on Steam? I think this may be related to the fact that Steam has its own subfolder under Official2020 and Official2024.
BTW, when something in the Installed list needs updated a little yellow slightly animated alert appears on the Installed tab. You can actually see it in one of the images above but I’ll repeat it here:
They said many times in the dev stream, stuff in early SU3 may not be complete, and fully functional…beta and all…but will continue to be worked on during the beta.
