Yes but if the load was better optimized that specific core wouldn’t get so over loaded. As I said, I only experience this during loading screen. After the screen is done loading the load gets more evenly distributed. Asobo did say more optimizations are coming on the next path in regards to performance. I was curious to see if I was the only one experiencing this. Hopefully that core gets better optimized for my system
Could this cause certain CPU temp monitors to read excessively high?
It will cause a single core on your cpu to get super hot. The reading is accurate when you see one specific core getting excessively hot.
This Lasso program is crazy!
I downloaded it out of curiosity after you wrote about it, and sure it makes a difference with micro-stuttering, even if I don´t know how to use it yet.
Just disabling hyperthreading and setting affinities makes the sim smoother.
I know you can do that within windows without third party software, but aparently this program “remembers” what you want, and you don´t have to set it up everytime you launch FS.
Thanks for the tip. Very useful.
If rendering graphics can’t be split up amongst cores at least put ATC on one core, it is causing stutters and even freezes on already stressed systems. THANK YOU.
crazy right! It’s now been a week since I first installed it and I haven’t had a single ctd!
I love watching the cpu core loads in the top right hand corner of lasso
That’s where I saw my browsers was beautifully distributing it’s load when opening, loading and refreshing a website. After setting the affinity options I could immediately see the results
There’s so much more to the program which we don’t need to use as it’s designed for server load management but it’s worth spending the 20 dollars just because it remembers the affinity options you set for each program
