Hi there, we are working a new build to be compatible with the latest sim update.no ETA to provide currently as we’re hoping to deploy a permanent solution that is a bit more extensive than a quick bug fix.
You should however still be able to use the mod, the only current issues we’re aware of have been noted in the comment above yours.
Please note that if the mod is loaded correctly the way you can tell is there will now be a grey triangle in the lower left corner of the thumbnail of the default Icon A5 livery.
Since there are many ICON A5 fans out there, I’m reanimating the thread.
Since the MSFS update 1.16.2.0 the Garmin no longer works properly. The input is accepted but not displayed in the PFD. I ask the HPG team to make an adaptation.
As mentioned on our Discord we wanted to release an update that would give the mod better compatibility with future sim updates. We are busy at work on our Airbus H145, but we will continue to support this aircraft as well as our H135.
Please remove all files associated with previous versions of this mod. Place the TWO included folders in your Microsoft Flight Simulator community folder.

I love the Icon A5 and am glad your team is taking care of it. Unfortunately, since MSFS update 1.18.13.0, the MAP, FPL and PROC buttons no longer work despite HPG update 2.8.1. Can you guys please modify this?
Any possibility of getting a version of this mod without the realism breaking engine change? Adding the G3X and autopilot fits with the 2021 refresh of the real plane, but the performance specs have remained the same.
Current update is a temporary compatibility patch, we still have to add support for dev 10 of the WT G3X and fix a few lingering items.
You can copy in the stock aircraft’s original engine.cfg and flightmodel.cfg if you prefer stock performance, we are unable to support another branch of this mod at this time.
WT G3X dev10 is on discord, but there is a problem with the water rudder control in the cockpit. We’ll fix this before pushing the A5 update to flightsim.to, but for now the FPL and other G3X bugs from the WT dev9 are resolved by the dev10 update.
I am confused! I have downloaded the hpg-icona5-2021PE_R9GXQ but it looks no different. I’ve read about the UWA Light Mod on the pdf but to be honest I haven’t a clue as to what it’s about, what to do, or where to do it. I love the original but the addon of AP is a great thing I’m sure… if I could get it to work. In MSFS the livery stays the same as before .. no grey triangle. Please can somebody help?
Hi there, it sounds like you have not installed the mod correctly.
Start over.
Download the file from Flightsim.to
Once the file is unzipped you will have (2) folders, both of these go inside of your community folder and no additional setup should be needed after that.
If you are still having issues with the install please join us on Discord for live support.
Well that did it. Previously I had unzipped and took the one folder over to Community. This time I opened the folder, found 2 folders, moved them… and Bingo!

hi, I downloaded **The ICON A5 2021 Performance Edition and followed the installation instructions which are always simple for MSFS 2020 (community folder), I also have the latest working title GX mod installed and I noticed it doesn’t load to my sim, I still have the default Icon A5 loaded, this is the only aircraft mod that I have this problem with, anyone have a solution ?
You will need to have 1) the Icon A5 mod installed, 2) the GX touch enhancements in the mod package, and 3) the Working Title GX mod installed for it all to work.
I have the latest from flightsim . to and don’t have any issues.
One other thing - do you have any Icon liveries installed? If so, remove them and test again.
I also have this problem. Downloaded and installed the latest version from Flightsimn.to. Both folders are located in my Community Folder as they should. Shows grey triangle on the thumbnail as it should, but. when I load it to an airport, it does not show the heading on the center gauge and the dimmer still works, which is not consistent with the mod description. There are no autopilot buttons in the Garmin. Since SU6, the Garmin screen is black. Note: only the Icon Mod and WT Garmin in my Community folder. All others removed.
In my case ,
1)The latest Icon A5 - 2021 Performance Edition With Upgraded G3X Avionics & Autopilot with WT g3x v 01.0 does not display the Autopilot choices.
2)Also the HYPE ICON A5 2021 PE version , which come with its own WT GX folder bundled does not work with SU6
I sorely this one of my fav birds. Any help will be appreciated
