iniBuilds Airbus A300 for MSFS

Downloaded latest version and the Texture Resolution update and then selected it in FS2020. When it finished loading the a/c was pink inside and out–both versions. I did not download any liveries.
Is there a fix for this?
I found nothing in the website.
Thanks.

Surprising with those specs. I’m on the same CPU but with a 3070 and get decent fps even with FSLTL running. I also fly a lot out of heavy scenery areas.

Can you lock to 60 fps with Nvidia Frame generation AND AI aircraft? I can’t in the A300. I can in most other jets. I need 60fps to keep trackir smooth.

Hi! Have you made sure you’re on the latest version of the A300? We released an update in late July significantly boosting performance.

Hello everyone, I have a fuel supply problem, when I order the fuel truck through GSX, click on the import fuel option from simbrief, the fuel filling animation occurs but there is no fuel loading on the plane, What am I doing wrong?

I think it just doesn’t sync with the A300. I use GSX for the visualisation but then also use the EFB page for the actual loading.

You are doing something wrong. Refuelling works fine here. Call for fuel from GSX menu, when tanker arrives and pipes are connected go to EFB and select Update from Simbrief on the payload page.

You can see here that fuel is being pumped progressively.

I’ll just paste in below what I wrote about this issue some six months ago. Pretty confident this still works, like Marklar666 said above.

In GSX, for the general settings I have “Always refuel progressively” checked but “Detect custom aircraft system refueling” UNchecked. In the “Customize aircraft” window I unchecked “Show MSFS ‘Fuel and Cargo’ during refueling”.

Then the steps are as follows: with “Simbrief OK” in GSX, load the Simbrief flight plan in the EFB under “My Flight”, then go to “Weight & Balance” but do NOT yet click on anything in the payload selection (eg “Custom Cargo”). Call the fuel truck in GSX, and once it is in place and you get the message to use your aircraft’s fueling system, click through to the second EFB W&B screen and select “Apply load to aircraft”. The only discrepancy then is that the EFB/plane fueling happens a lot faster than the GSX fueling, but both will work and complete just fine with all the animations for GSX.

Thanks for your help, now everything works fine with the fuel

What is wrong with COM audio in this plane? I can’t hear anything whether it’s ATC or ATIS. Radios are tuned, volumes all the way up, I can see transcription in ATC window but no audio. I can hear “myself” and copilot but nothing over the radios.

I found a topic on inibuilds forum from July, but they locked it. Is it still broken after 3 months?

I’m having the same issue.

We are still committed to releasing a fix for this ASAP so you won’t have to wait till the next “big” update. However until then, while we understand it may be frustrating or inconvenient, you can still make a flight with the default ATC by reading the text replies, albeit you may not have audio feedback for the interaction. This issue also does not manifest on all installations, as verified via internal testing.

You are free to disagree, but from our point of view, as the default ATC is not completely disabled, nor the plane completely unflyable in such instances, the grounding/not using the plane at all as such is entirely a user choice.

In any case, we appreciate the importance of this feature to some users, and a fix for this is still quite high up on the priority list as far as the A300 is concerned. At the same time, the team is also working very hard on delivering the other updates & products showcased during the Summer Surprises events, as such we would appreciate all your patience & understanding on this matter. :folded_hands:

As at this time there is nothing more to add to this conversation, I will lock this thread. We have acknowledged the bug and re-iterated that a fix will be coming in due course.

Thanks!

That’s embarrassing

It’s so annoying when a basic functionality remains broken for months. I am one of those weirdos who like to use default ATC, even though I own BATC, but since I can’t hear them this plane is unplayable.

Just got this plane on Friday. The autopilot a very interesting contrast with Boeings, A3xx, and the MD-11 Maybe you all can help me with this question:

Say I’m descending on a STAR with several speed/altitude constraints. I’m in Profile mode, so the FMC speeds and altitudes are being used. Then say ATC wants me to fly a particular speed. I dial in that speed and pull the knob, and the mode switches from Profile to FLC, and doesn’t follow the altitude constraints, but is in the equivalent of Open Descent. Do I then need to start manually setting the altitude to the next restriction on the STAR? And do I need to be in V/S mode?

Or, should I just update the speed restriction in the FMS and keep it in Profile mode?

I can’t say I do a lot of following ATC. The speed they give would often be the same as what the flight plan restriction was. My go-to would probably be to change the airspeed in either the flight plan page for the next waypoint or maybe it can be done in the PROG page?

Anybody got this working in 2024 yet? I believe Inibuilds said it could just be ported across? Then if you want native, pay £9.99 and so on.

They are going to issue an updated version with fixed bugs for free and an enhanced version for £9.99.

I have a lot of problems with this airplane in MSFS 2024, using the premium version. The biggest problem is the nav database that seems to be completely messed up; I cant enter new waypoints as they are “not in database”, and I can’t select airways leading from a waypoint as “there are no airways”. Tried to land to EBBR 25R, the plane did not pick up the localizer or glideslope, I except that is also related to this issue. Using navigraph Airac 2413 rev.1 BETA from the navigraph hub.

Anyone else with these issues?

Also, the whole sim freezes when exiting to the main menu with this plane!

You got a reply on this in a different thread. It’s a problem affecting all airplanes using Simconnect and it needs to be fixed by Asobo.

I’ve just started the plane, so I’m going to try it. I’ve flown this version just once and I don’t recall having any problems…

You tune your ILS on this radio, right?
