The digital download license will download will be available after game installed. The 990mb game install not the 93GB update.
Once game installed go back and download license

Mite try uninstalling Xbox for pc as bought through store.
One last try before leaving it for a few weeks so MS sort out these bugs.

Hi all, I also had problems downloading and installing the sim. Sometimes it ended up with a blue screen (Memory Management Failure), sometimes it ended up by rebooting. Well, my system was always running very stable and you probably all know the rule ‘never change a running system’. How ever, what I have remarked was that my system run out of memory (remarked by Taskmanager). Means up to 97 % were used. You know what is happening then! The solution for all that issues was to re-install the newest drivers for my mainboard (Intel Chipset for Rapid Storage and Memory Management). No more memory leaks. The setup did the job as expected. Hope this helps.

Thanks a lot, but you can tell me how to download license?

Ms store- check for updates in store if purchased from store.

We fixed an issue resulting in Microsoft Flight Simulator failing to launch on the previous two flights with an error citing: “The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect”.

They state it in the notes!!

Do we need any Xbox apps on pc installed at all?
Heard people in installing to get a fix.
Purchase on ms store box Xbox pass

An excellent idea,so is there a way to implement it?or do we have to assume Microsoft thought about it and decided it was too difficult for them to put into practice.

I’ve deleted everything and I’m starting over again from scratch downloading the install file from the microsoft store. We’ll see. There goes 3 days of downloading
down the drain. Microsoft really needs to get this figured out.

Welcome to the public BETA of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.

I have the same problem and the DIGITAL OWNER is not a factor. I have it downloaded and installed (after the first 1 Gb from the installer) and still the game do not want to launch and insists in asking me the DISC
I tried everything on the net to solve the problem, but after 20 hours mounting and dismounting things, I am very tired.
