I’m sorry i missed it myself. I did see it , i remember because i think it was on sale in the Market not long ago . I saw some pictures, not many but it didn’t click with me ghat it had all that. I’m putting on my list to get. I also would like the north sea as well. But i’m saving up for the expansion card 1Tb next because im running out of space.
Thanks for your advice and recommendation I’ll get it soon when on sale again . Thanks JakTrax78.
Well worth it as the default Manchester city (even post-UK World Update) is poor compared to Birmingham and London.
Anyone on PC (and possibly Xbox) sometimes get weird frame drops when looking over towards the Raddison Hotel? It’s weird as if something in that area is hogging the GPU. The GPU will go to 100% and frames tank. What’s stranger is, it doesn’t always do it and does it no where else. Old SDK issue maybe?
Does anyone have an issue where the taxiway terrain has a steep drop? Caused my plane to flip during taxi
IIRC there was a large bump/dip in a taxiway near the control tower the last time I used the scenery which ended my flight… damage off since then!
I fly in and out of Macco’s EGCC frequently and have never noticed an anomaly in any of the taxiways in the vicinity of the tower.
I noticed Tai released a version of EGCC on Inibuilds. It looks good but the absolute deal breaker for me is no runway hump on 23R. Everything is as flat as a pancake. If they correct this, I may reconsider.
I hope Maccosim hasn’t abandoned this.
Macco last week teased an image from their v2, comparing it to v1; so they’re definitely busy behind the scenes.
Taimodels featured much of the interior for their release — which looks fantastic — but being somewhat cynical, this looks to have been to hide the fact that they made a pretty mediocre job of everything else.
From the tiny snippet Macco teased, theirs when fully updated should be much better. Heck, it includes the infamous ‘hump’ now!
Will the taxiway be fixed in this update?
Oh that’s excellent news, thanks!
It’s already there in the current version. Still catches me out if I don’t get the flare just right!
I have downloaded and installed Manchester international airport version 1.3.0 hwever the buildings are completely missing. Anyone know how this can be fixed and how to get a refund if the issue persists?
I see you’re on Xbox. Sounds like some sort of conflict but I’m unsure what could be causing it.
Since Macco’s EGCC is on v2.1.5, I suspect you’ve the Taimodels version, which is currently v1.3.
Do you have other scenery in the area? A silly question, perhaps, but do you already have Macco’s installed? What aircraft are you using?
I have bought from marketplace this airport, and at runway 05R there are some missing landing marks. Is that only for me? Could u tell me please? Thx!
It’s not just you. I’ve told them about the missing runway markings years ago, almost 3 years ago to be more exact. Macco chose not to fix most errors, so I’ve long since uninstalled the scenery.
There’s a version 2 coming, but when that will be, no one knows. They said on Discord that there were further delays to it, but no reason given…
I’ve no reason to believe Macco are spurious but the longer this ‘delay’ goes on, the more suspicious I become…
Same, to be honest… It’s either coming, or it isn’t. They should at least be honest. In fact, on the website, it mentions or did mention regular updates alongside IRL airport works. I believe the current version hasn’t been updated since late 2021.
I wouldn’t mind either Inibuilds or UK2000 taking a stab at it.
Pyreegue! Pyreegue! Pyreegue! Ini would likely be my second choice… and if Macco’s v2 upgrade doesn’t end up happening, it could be a real possibility! Ohers plausible candidates I’d have confidence in are MK, FlyTampa, Flightbeam and possibly Orbx. UK2000 scenery is somewhat lacklustre at times; I doubt they’d do much better than Macco’s v1.
Macco did, however post a couple of WIP images that clearly showed SOME work has been started.
Do you know, I’d completely forgot about them. Why have I never bought East Mids… purchase incoming.
Oh indeed, if they ever do Manchester… now that would be something.
