Yeah I’ve used that, just not the same though since it relies on the built in failure system of MSFS which isn’t any good and it’s just random rather than based on how you treat the airplane.
Where have people found the price for the MSFS Arrow III ?
Also the XP JF Arrow III is £29.99, it’s the combo pack of the Arrow III and Turbo Arrow III & IV that’s £43.95
They stated in facebook page that the price will be the same as xplane/p3d version. So in my case its 44.99 and 64.99usd
So… as far as I can see only .25kHz radios? No 8.33, can anyone confirm?
Switching to the GNS430 or GNS530 allows use of 8.33kHz on COM1
I think the novelty of the older avionics would wear off with me, and I’d stick to the 530, plus its mod.
That’s what I fly with today, a Warrior with a 530W, and I’m thinking of adding same to the plane I hope to purchase soon, so, yeah, same here, I’d be using the 530, too.
At some point I’m going to have grow up and use big boy avionics, since I’m using them today anyway
“Ok, Boomer” (tail-end boomer here)
JF was on a YouTube livestream today and got some facts about the pricing:
The Arrow will cost 37.95€ (don’t know the other currencies, but the price is basically the same as for XP11).
It will be released later this or start of next week.
The Turbo version will be released a few weeks later, for owners of the regular version there will be a 66% discount for the Turbo version.
At some point there will be a bundle as well, no info on that.
Also there will be a slight discount for owners of the P3D version of the Arrow, not sure if that’s the case for XP11-version owners as well.
To me it looks great and you can’t compare it with Carenado. This one got a lot more effort into it, even if they surely used textures/models/calculations from their other Versions it was more effort than Carenado put into their models.
Nevertheless, I’ll wait for some reviews of actual buyers to come out since so far it’s just some videos from people who got it for free to try out.
