Yeah looking forward to it indeed! Wilma’s modern cousin that lives abroad
Shame about the DA50 problems. Was looking forward to a “normal” plane from Got Friends, but I’ll happily take the odd-birds anyway!

Oh wow. I keep learning about new planes, which seems impossible given the number of books, magazines, and website links in my library.
I totally want this. Presale made!
Looks like it was just a prototype and they’ve developed it into the side-by-side Ascender. Hopefully this will come to be, and be modeled as a sequel after the stunning success of the DoubleEnder.
Double the Engines, Double the Fun!
We will create an official thread and announcement on the Double Ender once we have it in game.
Cheers!

Hi Gotfriends,
Is there any updates regarding the Draco, or is this not in development any more?
Last updates were from a year ago. From this old post: [LIST] Got Friends: Development Hangar - #51 by DigitalJonx
Mike Patey’s Draco has been delayed indefinitely. We are awaiting sources of Draco data in order to continue developing an accurate experience. This is hard to find due to there being little information and no active aircraft.
And this [LIST] Got Friends: Development Hangar - #56 by DigitalJonx
I would assume a mixture of things. Mike is a very busy man and we do try to not slide into people busy schedules before we have to. He knows of the project and has shown interest. Once we unveil our next STOL project, we may be able to find ways to gather more unique data. Really hard since Draco has been buried from the accident. Hoping for Draco-X after Mike Patey’s rebuild and more interest is sparked!
The top post gets updated occasionally and this is the current list of planes in development
Got Friends Products in Development:
F4F-4 Wildcat
STOL Project
Secret Project
Maybe it’s the STOL project or maybe that’s something else?
The STOL project was the Double Ender, as far as I know. The post hasn’t been edited since before it was released.
Draco is still shelved as well for the foreseeable future. I definitely wouldn’t expect much, if anything on that until Mike gets around to DracoX. Even then, it’s all dependent on if Mike even want’s to grant a license for it. And if he does, to whom.
Wasn’t the Wilga the STOL project and the Double Ender the Secret Project?
Actually, nevermind because WIlga and Double Ender were both put on the completed list with that post edit. Thought the edit was from June, but it was actually July 14th, so post DE release.
So, the list is up-to-date. I have no idea what the STOL and secret project is then.
Edit: It isn’t Draco, for sure though. That I do know.
Oh cool, that means there is more GotFriends goodness to come!
Any chance the cubs will come to Xbox?
Hello Everyone!
I want to express my gratitude for your incredible support over the past two years as we’ve developed our payware products. Starting out as hobbyist freeware developers, we embarked on this journey to simply enhance the simulator with some wild ideas. Although we lacked formal business backgrounds and professional expertise, our vibrant community has been driving our growth and because of everyone and every dollar spent, we are now bridging that gap and taking our development projects to the next level. We are pushing limits and working full-time to make our products an experience and not just a purchase.
However, it is time to recognize our imperfections and limited industry knowledge, I want to take responsibility for a misstep we’ve made regarding Replacement Packages.
While these packages allowed for customization, they also extended our update cycles considerably. I underestimated the complexity of adapting to changes from PMS50, Sky4Sim, Working Title, and other critical components like Official Avionics Updates.
However, I still believed that Replacement Packages held the key, even going as far as introducing UNR (Updates Not Required) releases. However, we’ve reached a point where change is necessary and we need address this now before it’s too late.
Our product updates have become lengthy, exacerbated by the swift evolution of Asobo’s Avionics Updates, the shift of PMS50 to WTT Support, and the growing intricacies of navigation elements from Working Title. Every update is digging a deeper hole and for each change, it is recoded, retested and verified for each Replacement Package. Take the Wilga for example; we have 4 Avionics Suites, 8 Variants and 5 Replacement Packages. This alone is 160 combinations of systems that have to be tested, tens of thousands of code that has to be checked, and 3D Model exportation on a massive scale. It is not ideal and it is why the Wilga has had a lengthy update cycle.
Therefore, we’re moving towards a transformation that simplifies our approach for the community and aligns us with the industries best practices.
In the near future, we will be phasing out all Replacement Packages from our website. For products using the Garmin 530/430, we will be implementing the Working Title Advanced 530/430 Package into the aircraft by default. For products that had additional PMS50 systems, we will focus on updating 3D Models to allow for swappable avionics, eliminating the need for Replacement packages. These changes will be seamlessly integrated into each aircraft. To add to PMS50, we will be transitioning away from outdated GTN750 compatibility and moving towards GTN750 WTT compatibility.
This shift is a significant move for us, and it’s one that we believe will pave the way for faster and more dependable updates in the future. As we work through this development cycle, we ask for your support and patience.
Once again, thank you for standing by us, even when we face challenges. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me directly and I will do my best to answer.
Thank you,
Jonx
Good luck with the changes. Sounds like a sensible decision!
Can I ask about Sky4Sim. You mentioned it at the top, but will that still work with the ones that have it integrated currently (Wilma and Mini-500)?
@DigitalJonx You haven’t mentioned the TDS GTNXi with one word. I hope it will still be supported in the future as well.
Yep, curious about Sky4Sim and the TDS GTNXi, since that’s the combo I’ve been happily using… Totally get it, though!
@DigitalJonx
Now that the awesome Wildcat has finally landed, I wanted to revisit two highly aniticipated projects that haven’t had any exposure over the last months:
Any news on that front by any chance?
We are moving in different directions at this time and both projects are still delayed indefinitely.
That’s a pity. Thanks for the update though.
