Does anyone else have the MORA grid not working in the latest update?
The NOAA elevation files are in place and validated by the software.
I can toggle the basic grid on and off however the button for the MORA is toggled on and not selectable.

The MORA grid has nothing to do with the elevation data since it is derived from official sources.
MORA and some other features like MSA do not show if Do not use Navigraph Database
is selected since navaids cannot be mixed from sim and Navigraph.

Interesting, I donât have (though have had) a Navigraph sub currently so will check that setting, thanks,
Iâd use L.N.M. if it could be placed OVER the map in game. Trying to switch back-and-forth to use it, is not very useful, for me. But, thanks for your efforts.
See here for a bunch of tools which might do this: https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/627045-littlenavmap-in-vr/
Otherwise Iâd recommend a second cheap monitor.
Alex
No need
Open LNM > click Window > check box âkeep in foregroundâ.
Indeed, that works, but rather than sacrifice a portion of the main screen, I do what Alex suggested and run LNM on a small secondary monitor. Iâm a dedicated fan of the app and all of the features, but Iâm really not a master by any means. I use the basic functions and it really enhances my time in the simâŠ
A scenery database question that doesnât appear to be covered in the manual.
If I add one new addon airport and I want LNM to update the scenery library to include the airports updates to runways and/or taxiways, is there a way to just update that one airport, or do I have to rebuild the entire scenery database again, and make sure to have all of my other addon airports in the community folder so their data isnât lost?
You have to rebuild the whole database. Updating only parts of it is not doable due to too many relations between airports and other features.
Note that updating can be done in the background since the LNM 2.8 versions. Put the loading progress dialog in the back and continue to plan a flight. It will pop into foreground again once done.

Hi, thank you so much for all of the work you do on this application. I am having issues with the âShow Minimum off-route Altitude Gridâ since upgrading to the latest version. The button/menu are greyed out. I do have the GLOBE Elevation data configured
Is there something else that I could be missing to get this working? It works fine with the previous version.
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide
Youâre welcome.
The MORA numbers are a part of the official navdata and have nothing to do with the GLOBE elevation data which is used in the LNM elevation profile.
MORA is disabled in Do not use Navigraph
scenery library mode because I cannot mix navaids from different providers. Sorry.
Alex
Thanks, I see the setting that I needed to update and it works like it did before
Alex, question regarding the Information Dock Window and the Airport tab. Iâm guessing that this would help with quick info about my destination airport, runways, weather, etc, but when I click on airport it says âno airport selectedâ⊠How do I select an airport so that the information fields are populated? Thank you!
Just to be sure: Do you click near the center of the airport symbol?
The click can also be disabled in options on page Map
.
You can still right click on the symbol and select Show information
if the click is disabled.
Alex
That did the trick! I right click and select show information and then it appears in the Information Dock. Thanks for the quick reply, Iâm sure I will find this very useful and I never realized it was a feature. A great piece of work Alex!
Youâre welcome.
Hello Alex,
I have an unexpected error message from LNM on my flight plan.
So my cruise level is FL390, LNM complains about a â37k ft maxâ restriction at VOLFO, but itâs over 50 nm after my ToD, so I would already be way below 37k ft at that point.
Up to you to see if itâs easily fixeable, if not, no big deal.
Oh btw I use Navigraph data now (if it makes a difference).
Haddock
LNM does not consider the TOD and TOC yet when calculating this error message. LNM might also bring you during climb onto an airway violating the minimum altitude for example.
Iâm aware of these limitations and try to fix them in a future release but this is not so simple.

When you take a flight and when you land, is there any way you can save your dashed line on the map from being connected with a straight one when you take your next flight?
No. You cannot avoid the straight line. You can only save the trail and delete it before a new flight to avoid the connection.
But a separate trail for a flight is saved in the logbook entry (27. Logbook â Little Navmap User Manual) if this helps.
