If I would have to rank it exclusively with LL and FF´s, I would rank it as one of the best, they ever released in those series. But that is not how I would rate it honestly. It is payware for me, no matter if LL or not.

If anyone has or is able to find an actual real world PDF of the YS-11’s manual (in English), I hope they’ll share it here. It’d be super interesting to compare performance numbers and operating ranges, etc.

And what you say (price) is certainly an aspect that matters for a lot. And I would absolutely agree to say, it is worth its money. And for a lot of people that might be even one of the most important factors. And that is absolutely ok. But not for me anymore. I would just not use the aircraft, because it had a good price. There are just too many better addons or even completely other stuff to do for me and have more fun with. But that is just me. We are all kinda different in the end.

And exactly that is just unnecessary and not acceptable in 2025 anymore. It is possible to intercept hardware inputs from default axises and recode them to the need of the addon. And the SDK of the 2024 even has the possibility of programming aircraft specific keybinds. It should not be necessary in 2025 anymore, to use external tools to bind keys and axises to important controls in addons. I mean, I do it a lot, without AxisAndOhs I couldn´t use the sim at all. But that should not be required at all in the first place.

Just had a chance to take a quick look at the NAMC before going to bed, but I can say this about it: the Instrument Views seem to be well chosen.
I wish that weren’t a fact worthy of comment, but it is: it’s amazing how often developers put little or no effort into setting them up. So well done IniBuilds for that at least.

Well said. For five years I have avoided the need for Spad or A&O’s and have had no issues using the HC Bravo Throttle and Alpha Yoke with MSFS’s default bindings. The inability to bind the HPC levers is a disappointment for main control levers.

I know it’s Inibuilds but still a MS release and not career mode compatible this is wild
Career mode just isn’t getting the attention it deserves IMO. I realize they have a lot on their plate but developing and selling new aircraft when current default aircraft (skyvan anyone) already broken and also unavailable in career mode is a major deal breaker.

Anyone seeing an odd folder in their “StreamedPackages” folder after installing the YS-11?
I have a “fs20-” folder. Going into it I see references to the YS-11.

She’s a dead stick in Aviation Economic sim ie Career mode. In PC she’s DOA, when using FSE Flightsim Economy. Fuel system and Tanks mismatch. Now there F406 is a Gem. All they have to do is Two Tanks not Four with a cross feed open and it’d be a happy high flyer. if your flying VA no issues and I dont know enough about neofly.
Im still buying the YS11 full 110% for VA and hoping a update to help us in FSE and those in Career mode. She’s a Rare bird in FS, and I love Ini’s F406. This Legend YS11 is my Treasure.
No you dont, i purchased the 2024 version and i still have to purchase the 2020 version when i loaded up 2020…

This YS-11 has sooo much potential…one thing is those engine covers… cmon…covering the propellers like that, i think not…there would just be covers in the intake and exhaust…also is there really no cockpit door in the YS-11??
Gave it a go in the free trial and will not be purchasing. It looks good and sounds good but the object pop in when switching between cockpit and external is horrible and immersion breaking. It’s the worst I’ve seen in 2024.
There are a few other small bugs and unfortunately these local legends do not get updated because it’s not in the contract between Microsoft and the 3rd party so what we have now is the final product.
I don’t think it’s fair/accurate to say they are essentially contractually obligated to make no updates considering other LL/FFs have received updates. Yes, many/most still have outstanding issues despite that, but to claim that no LL/FF has ever/will ever receive updates is false.
That said, this one has a functioning toilet 
so I’m not sure anything else matters

Please outline the issues you are seeing and also report them both here and to inibuilds directly. They do update their products, such as the An-225 for example.
