You may consider this post to identify some settings which may be too high your your CPU (which is one of the best if not the very best CPU for the MSFS):
Are you sure the frame generation is on? What happens when you turn it off? Are you getting less FPS?
Do you have Vsync on? If so what is the max frequency of your display?
