Maintenance does not reset

Seems like once you missed a required check-up you can never get the status to green.

  1. If you buy a new plane and only use it by crew the check up time will be stuck at a fixed time and never change until you do the first check-up. Got 14 flight hours by crew but checkup needs to be done in 21h. The correct value would be 10h for Mandatory
  2. Once you missed it you will never get out of the red, cause every following check will not update the mandatory
I got Last 4hr, and Mandatory 3h ago
After clicking the checkup I got Last 9h and Mandatory 8h ago.

But I would assume that the correct values are last 0h mandatory 24h

• Same issue. The technician is not matching the state of the aircraft. The Update check up is also bugged, sometimes showing that its mandatory in 00min when I just did the checkup.

• Yes, I fully repaired my plane so that all systems are good or new and it still says “to maintain”

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
• I can’t even do the checkup. I’ve paid almost 3.5 million at this point for this aircraft, not to mention the 2 million I lost the first time I tried it and thought that I needed to keep my first plane to grind more to repair it then it would be fixed.

Did not miss any required checkup because the aircraft was bought second hand and then repaired to all new, so it was never used by me.
Still stuck in the same loop though.

• Oh yes!

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
• Aircraft was bought second hand and never used by me. Still immediately stuck in the maintenance loop.

If relevant, provide additional screenshots/video:

Edit> I ended up transferring the aircraft to another base, but this did not help. Then I toggled the crew option which did not help either.

Solution for me was repairing EVERYTHING to NEW status. This cost more than a new aircraft but it did reset the maintenance option to green.

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
• Bought a Caravan 208B, fixed all vitals. The next day I went with delegated maintenance. Still stuck in “To maintain” and can’t press the technician to re-evaluate.

@KiaraLeona @ORFK
You seem to have a slightly different issue than OP, but there’s another thread, do you think you can post here: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/career-company-aircraft-shows-as-to-maintain-with-no-option-to-maintain/671766/12
to get traction of this bug to fix our grounded planes?

@brunablommor It was not my idea to merge my (own) topic into this one. @moderators were of the opinion that my bug report was consistent with this one.

I would like to add to the maintenance issue - the MANDATORY check ups do NOT reflect the actual flying time.

I fly for a couple of hours and my passive craft have a multitude of maintenance issues, particularly with the tyres. Since when do " landings and 2 take-offs require you to have to renew tyres? Since when does a tyre or landing gear deteriorate in 2-3 hrs of flying time??
These do not reflect reality.
Please fix wear rate on COMPONENTS and the mandatory Checkup vs flying hours

Do you have the same issue if you follow the OP’s steps to reproduce it?
• Yes.

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
• I made the technician inspect the aircraft, but the indicator for require inspections will not reset or go away. Then no matter how I do the maintenance, the maintenance indicator for the overall aircraft will always revert back to being in the red or “to maintain” status. I can literally maintenance everything to “new” and then the indicator will say good. But once I move to a separate screen and come back, it will be in a “to maintain” status and be red. In the photos below, I just did the maintenance and also did the technician inspections. The first picture shows no aircraft need to be inspected. But the follow on screens is what shows when you click on each plane.

• yes, bought a second hand aircraft as my first aircraft for the company. repaired all vital and some more components manually, all categories and all vital components are good or new.

Oh an to add on to that: It’s my first company, I don’t have any other planes and spent all the credits on this. I am literally stuck and unable to play to advance my career (also because of all but the most basic missions dissappeared in emloyee mode).

Description of the issue:
aircraft maintenance bug - completely maintenance’d up aircraft. Flew different plane for 1.5 hours. Got passive income with flight of 1.5 hours (ish) [so far so good]
checked plane again, showing overdue and needed maintenance AGAIN

[PC Only] Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue?

No mods.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

Varies with some aircraft, including one I was flying - would always require checkup after a 1-1.5 hour real-time or “estimated 5 hour” game time (but only ever a 2.5 hour flight based on airspeed).

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Checkup & Repair/Fix-up aircraft, ensure crew is on
Fly regular, non-crew ac
Visit AC again, might require checkup again and need repairs again.

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
In career mode the Maintenance part of this aircraft is now broken. It was working fine, but lately it has not been working. When you click on update check up it does not actually update the check up from an hours standpoint. Right now it says that my last one was 14 hours ago and that a mandatory one was due 13 hours ago, even though I literally just clicked the button.

If applicable, which aircraft is experiencing this issue:
Pilatus PC-12

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

All the time now.
