Same here, stuck on decompressing 1.21.
I’m suspecting it gets confused as 1.20 was the last marketplace version, and 1.22 is the latest version (and 1.21 never materlialized on time in the marketplace)

Workaround:

  • Exit the game,
  • Go into your official packages folder:
    C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages\Official\Steam if you’re using steam, and
  • Delete the indiafoxtecho-mb339 directory there
  • Restart sim
  • Redownload from content manager

You’ll now have a magical version 1.24 with patchnotes stating its 1.22
