First flight sim game I’ve played and the amount of bugs are insane. I guess I am enabling them since I upgraded to the premium deluxe with all the issues but I read in a few places that the PC-24 is mostly fixed, I guess not. What a waste, I guess I’ll stick to the PC12 for now
It is mostly fixed compare to like 3 weeks ago
I agree, that the issue with the retracting gear is fixed now.
However it’s still impossible to me to fly medium difficulty cargo missions as each one of them requires to fly the Pilatus PC24.
→ After each landing it’s not possible to steer left or right, so I can’t leave the runway.
Does anyone know a fix?
Only two possible solutions, you can either not skip to descent (you can turn the wheels if you don’t skip) or you can drive off the runway and it will give you the option to skip to shutdown which will also lower your grade. The PC-12 doesn’t have these issues and is smaller with reverse thrust for shorter runways.
Thank you. It works your way.
Just make sure you’re going very slow when you’re about to get on the grass because it will also ding you for taxi speeding if you’re going too fast…
anyone figured out how to turn off the random ghost light in the cockpit? It’s like the Overhead lights are on, but they are not. I can’t find this mysterious bulb producing all this ■■■■ light in the cockpit… makes night flying quite difficult.
Autothrottle can’t figure out how to stabilize in cruise. I want to mute the sim this is so annoying.
PC24 on series X. I keybinded “TOGGLE SPOILERS” on my keyboard but nothing happens. The mouse does interact with the lever in cabin but based on my limited experience with planes like A300 and A321/319/318 I’m not sure that they’re actually engaging. No sound of the spoilers activating, no significant drop in speed that I can tell. It just seems like my regular throttle cut is slowing it down. Anybody else think this is the case?
I have been unable to bind spoilers either on an axis or buttons to either the keyboard or Thrustmaster throttle. Both Thrustmaster app and FSUISP7 indicate hardware is working. I can only operate spoilers via mouse selection / clicks. Mind you the function arrow is backwards. I suspect there is an issue with the PC-24 model which needs to be fixed.
I tried now in career mode, and the cautions and warnings reset OK. Must have fixed it. The landing gear is still a problem. I am assuming the pressure above 20K is also a problem still, so I am flying at 17K, after adjusting it and telling ATC.
I just tested in free flight, and the gear work properly. They are still broken in career mode.
PC-24 never had pressurisation issues. You can fly it all the way to fl450 easy peasy. It can go even higher while hand flying but becomes really sluggish
Hopefully someone mentioned the fuel consumption and the power is way off base… After 36500 it climbs at maybe 600 ft / min and the I use a 1/2 tank of fuel going 500 miles. Supposed to have a 2,000 mile range and I can get it to go 1,250… I am just mentioning this as I don;t readily see a post… I have the same other pressurization warnings (REDLIGHT BLINKING), issues, etc.. Again, if only the MSFS Dev’s would unlock the .CFG’s. Been waiting since the beginning for these little issues to be resolved…
The Range dial on the map screen in the middle doesn’t work for me. I spin it and it doesn’t change. Do I have to activate something else? It’s called HSI Range and I couldn’t find a binding for it either. I don’t think it’s hardware related since it’s with my mouse. Hopefully just user issue.
I found out you have to click, hold and drag up/down on the map screen for zooming in and out. Also have to click in the area of the map that shows the tiny numbers of the map’s current zoom range.
Can you import a simbrief flight plan directly into the aircraft without using the efb ?
Moreover, i did try importing a flight plan from the efb and had discontinuities…tried deleting the discontinuity and flightplan waypoints almost all vanished…any suggestions ?
discontinuities are normal depending on the flight plan, especially when using a SID or STAR since most will be used by multiple airports they can’t always drop you off onto your approach. but you should be able to delete discontinuities pretty easily without messing up the flight plan.
What exactly is happening, what do you mean “flight plan waypoints almost all vanished”
ok I managed to get flight plan working. Somehow I cannot almost hear the engines from the cockpit. Tried removing and re installing the aircraft but to no avail. Moreover, does it have navigraph charts integration ?
From the cockpit it’s a very quiet airplane IRL. the sounds aren’t great for pretty much all of the default planes. I flew the 747 yesterday and it had no engine sound whatsoever.
I wouldn’t expect much in the sound department currently.
