MSFS2020 CTD area ESGF

I am having the same issue since the update was pushed out on 4/23 ish. I had bought a bunch of stuff from the marketplace. I did notice that MS updated .Net framework around the same time along with the monthly update for Win11. I deleted everything I added. For me it isn’t just one airport. It is all of them and only when in VR. I rolled back my .Net framework and Nviada. Nothing has corrected the issue.

I saw a post about the delete index. They didn’t say where it is found and they said they replaced with an older version.

I could use some help. I am new here.

Sorry, I don’t use VR, I don’t know how to help you.

It’s ok. I had this same issue around this time last year. It cleared up on it’s own. But I am just annoyed that I fly VR until it fixed. For me MSFS 2020 was running fine and suddenly I get a forced mandatory update of the base product. I just spent about 200 bucks on scenery in the last week. You pay all this money for something that you can’t use the way it should be. It should be optional at this point. used backup files and replaced the ones that were updated. As soon as I start the simulator it reinstalled the ■■■■ ones

I did notice that when it updated that it reinstalled some of the factory scenery. I had two of several airports. I removed the Asobo stuff. I thought that might be the issue and was causing the crash. I can have narrowed it down to flightsimulator.exe, nvwgf2umx.dll and D3D12Core.dll so far. they are showing up in the event viewer alot when it crashes. Nvidia released new drivers today and I will see what happens with everybody else if the problem goes away or stays.

In this topic the problem is related to a specific geographic area where a stock airport behaves in an anomalous way when FSHUD queries it to know what facilities are available.
All this generates a .NET error that crashes the simulator.
If you do not use FSHUD the problem probably does not arise.

As for the Nvidia driver, I updated to the latest version and I have no problems.

I had to reinstall windows. I going to see if 2020 is any better. I was getting alot of error message not related to 2020 but everything happened at the same time.
