[MSFS2024] Airbus A321LR

What?! Is that still happening?!

This has been reported several times through all the SUs.

What I usually do is to delete the A321 folder inside the streamed packages. forcing to download again and it usually solves the problem.

The post for this issue is here.

Please add to it and vote for it if the issue is still happening.

Cheers

Any update on a fix for the simbrief fuel loading bug and gaining fuel when the centre pumps are switched on?

Short flight from Heathrow to Geneva on the SU5 beta updated version. Fuel doesn’t load from aircraft EFB, only the sim EFB. Payload is fine from aircraft EFB. Didn’t have any fuel in centre tanks but did have the pumps on. Fuel reduced as expected landing with 2.2 tonnes when it should have been 3 so it obviously consumes fuel faster than Simbrief says it will which is the same as the A20N. Have increased my fuel factor on the profile to P10 from P02 to match my A20N profile

Autopilot and flight director randomly disconnect. Same with A330.

I’ve had this issue forever with the A321LR and it’s really beginning to annoy me as it doesn’t happen on any other aircraft including the A20N and A330, as well as the inibuilds A350, A300 and PMDG 737-800 and 777-300ER

I’m flying along with absolutely minimal to no control inputs and the spoilers are deploying like crazy and making it twitch around all over the place. Makes it very hard to control and is generally very annoying. I’m on Xbox series X and use the TCA Airbus pack with TFRP rudder pedals and, like I say, this isn’t happening in any other aircraft. Everything is also very steady in the control settings when I look at the sensitivity curves. Anyone got any ideas? Here’s a video of it in action with the flight controls ECAM page open so you can see what’s going on

I had this issue with the spoilers rocking the plane as well on PC. Did you use the throttle calibration tool by any chance? You might try resetting the throttle calibration to defaults or just redoing the calibration until you don’t see this issue.

The throttle calibration? That’s a very strange clash but I’ll give it a go an see what happens

Ok weirdly this might have worked. Just flew the GOSAM 1D runway 6 departure out of Edinburgh and it was totally stable after pressing to reset my throttle calibration on the inibuilds EFB when I loaded in. So fingers crossed that’s a really weird fix and thank you very much if it is

Also, if you are too aggressive with the stick inputs on turns, the spoilers tend to deploy. I think this is a bug because I don’t think it should happen with wheels up. It’s for crosswind takeoffs when you are aggressively countering the crosswind with stick input. Boeings do this too. Just give it gentle touches until you reach the degree of bank you want.

Yeah I tend to be very much on the gentle side with my stick inputs and in my video, I was barely moving it

It seems very intermittent. Some flights it does it, some flights it doesn’t. Really quite annoying :frowning:

Updated again to .23 on the SU5 beta .24 build. Fuel still can’t be loaded from the inibuilds EFB. Maybe I should be creating a bug report for this

Just tried this aircraft for the first time. Overall not bad. As noted above, fuel is not loading properly from simbrief via EFB. I don’t see an option to load the flightplan into the MCDU. Also, I am getting an EICAS message that tcas is in stby but it seems to be set to TARA. Not sure if I am doing something wrong or what.

If you use simbrief, on the INIT page on the MCDU the second button down on the right hand side of the screen imports the simbrief info into the MCDU. You then use the arrow keys to get to the second INIT page where pressing the buttons beside the weight and fuel will auto-populate these

On the comms panel, there is a button on the top row named ATC. Press this and there you can set up to get rid of TARA warning

This is a topic created by me that gather both A320neo and A321LR issues.

It would be great if you guys post your problems here so we get a better chance MSFS fixe both planes

It’s a shame this aircraft is still significantly buggier than the A330 despite multiple updates. You’d think if they can get one working right they can do the other just as well.

uuuuuuf,

I did finally a next test flight after SU5 release and…

Total disaster with bug like FOB, not functional refresh/set from FOB to aircraft as fuel quantity,…

I don’t know, I have really feeling that they don’t know what they do, especially with SUs. This looks to me that they implemented like some SU before SU4???

It keeps speeding up really quickly when i go to land is there a way to stop it ? im doing something wrong ? Please help please :frowning:

Sometimes when I fly (no autopilot) the wings start rocking for apparent reason. I can even take my hands off of the controls and the wings keep on rocking. Does anyone have a fix to this? Also the audio of this aircraft is really messed up.

That bug has been there for ages. I don’t think they can reproduce it.
