- Just adding the cowl flap topic. No change visible.
Does not work at all for me in free flight.
When I try to use it, the sim just hangs.
Tried multiple times.
No engine leaning page on PFD, so no access to EGT. Also, cannot push to sync heading or push to activte cursor in PFD in system setup page.
As soon as I go to take off in this aircraft the plane is all over the place and I barely get off the ground. In autopilot is follows GPS but the plane is pointed left about 15 degrees so it flies at an angle… went to look outside the plane and saw this I wonder if this is why there is weird drag on the plane? lmao
Lowkey disappointed in this one. In addition to the things already mentioned:
- For some reason, 1000 rpm yields a 40 knot taxi (not sure if this is an overstimation of the Bonanza’s power or a flight model issue with the sim itself)
- When flying at night, it’s like there’s an overhead light in the cockpit you can’t turn off. Makes it very hard to see out of the window.
- Must disable engine stress damage option to use this aircraft, otherwise engine quits about 5 minutes after startup.
- No cyan climb fuel flow marker (in addition to lean page inop as mentioned earlier)
- Electrical system basically completely inop
- Yaw damp inop
Also seen many of the same bugs in freeflight (not tried in career mode yet). Short video to illustrate.
The milky glass on the G36 is that for everyone or is just on some systems?
Same here WRT milky glass. Likewise for the SR22. Drives me nuts.
(As does the ground reflecting off the windshield … I mean … how? Asobo?).
Is it just me or does this thing have the turning circle of a London bus, even using differential braking?
Taxi light shines through aircraft skin with landing gear stowed
When I use it, it is pretty nimble, turning in a fairly short arc. It seems OK, not like a bus IMO.
I must have something wrong in my controller settings then. Thanks.
The G36 Turbo mod that worked perfectly in FS2020 is not recognized in FS2024, even though I manually copied the files into the FS2024 Community folder.
Incorrect
Instrument. Airspeed indicator on copilots side is for a Baron, not a Bonanza. The blueline and redline (1st redline) are for multiengine aircraft.
You need to apply full rudder and VERY heavy differential braking, plus a lot of power. I would apply full brakes, throttle up to run-up power, and slowly let off the brake until you turn. I think this behavior is improved with the G36 improvement mod (aptly named, lol), but even the real pilot’s handbook says you’ll need differential brakes and added power for minimum radius turns.
