[MSFS2024] Junkers JU 52

Yes, 1939 version, as is mentioned in the title of my bug report, not the retrofit version. And did you open the valve/valves I mentioned prior the start up, the location is shown in later post of that report, did you read it? I think you went the easiest way and not opening these valves.

I followed the checklist for both aircraft.

Did you read my 2nd edit? I checked the 1939 version. It’s fine too. Fine at least in that the brakes work, the parking brake works (even tho it shouldn’t have one I think) and the chocks hold it.

The glareshield lighting doesn’t work unless you start already running.

Gibt es so etwas?

Yes I did, but you clearly did not read mine, where I doupt you did not open the valve, that is the whole point of this bug report.

I’ve spent the last couple of days flying the float & wheeled 1939 variants. Overall, I’ve been enjoying flying this aircraft - particularly the float version.

There are some bugs - as reported in Bug Reporting Hub / junkers-ju-52 , but my main comment at this time is that I’m a bit disappointed that some 2024 features are not incorporated in the AAU_06 version. For example, the new water effects are not modelled (for an example of an excellent rendition, try out the Albatross G11 or HU16), and the aircraft does not respond to the new ESB Ground Services features such as pushback, chocks (can remove, but not add) or doors (one can click the “cargo” doors, but two of the doors on the aircraft remain closed - perhaps the emergency door and / or overhead window in the cockpit?):

Edit: I’d also point out this oddity. The night-lighting in the cabin does not appear to reflect the locations of the lights. The light source appears to be some sort of fluorecent lighting in the ceiling, but the actual lights look to be the circular objects on both sides of the aircraft above the seats:

Aren’t those things above the seats air vents?

They might well be - it’s hard to tell. Even if they are, the overhead lighting looks more like reflections of a lightsource. I just can’t figure out where the lights actually are.
