I don’t understand how the pop-in can be this bad for static items when I’m barely moving.
I’m rocking 1000 Mbps and it’s definitely not using any of it. Like what’s the point switching to streaming only if your not gonna use our Internet speeds. These should be the images of people with a really slow internet speeds. Let me click a button that makes it so you use a godly amount of my internet. Use it! I got it for a reason, lol.
I’m on series X and I get it will be worse than PC but if it’s streaming in most everything shouldn’t it be better/ based on my internet more? It only streams what’s around you and what your looking at. I really hope all this is just a streaming problem and it will be optimized and improved VASTLY over the course of the game. For the same price as PC version this current state is just not acceptable. This is not the game I was sold on from all the pre-release footage. Reminds me of cyberpunk 2077 on the Xbox one. No one that bought it there was TOLD/SHOWED it would look that bad. They hid that information. Like Asobo did here.
The servers are the limit as the day 1 doctored picture stated. Doesn’t matter how fast your internet is as you are restricted by the speed at which the servers can supply the data and also how fast your Xbox can render it
They were always going to show it at it’s best; otherwise it wouldn’t sell and everyone would have gone out and got a PC instead of sticking with Xbox which is where they make their money (Xbox built and sold by Microsoft, no access to freeware, etc)
My expectations were that this was going to fix the issues that led to the huge LOD nerf that was SU15 and instead it made it worse by blurring what little we can see. I’m flying both sims at the moment and while 2024 is better in many ways, graphically, they are definitely the wrong way around
Had 2024 work nicely once at low traffic hours . Pretty impressive but I’m done for now, it’s became a drag. Going back to 2020. Hope they fix it and deliver what was promised.
I managed to have some beautiful scenery over Switzerland two weeks ago. Today i played again, same part, 2pm PST (11 CET) and it was war zone and really low FPS. Did anyone hear anything about Asobo or MS doing something on their servers to address this at some point?
I played a few others games via the XBOX cloud and everything was smooth and fast (Racing Game, adventure, …) so i would assume that there is a way.
Even FS2020 via Cloud has the same graphic slow server issues.

Description of the issue:
I have noticed a huge drop in drawing distance with bigger aircraft. Finally the Airbuses work in Xbox. Also the flights over the Alps have been quite nice, as terrain level seemed better than before. However, getting close to the ground, I have noticed with bigger aircraft a huge drop in drawing distance and resolution of further away textures in urban areas, which kills the immersion totally. I don’t know what the cause is, or if it is meant to be like this, but it is for sure killing the experience. Attached screenshots are taken at the same approach (Turin airport) with the A321 and a Cessna.

Every time with bigger aircraft.

Same here! Also on Xbox. It kills the game for me. A draw distance of 200m is a joke. Night lighting is terrible with city blocks flickering on and off. They charge the same price for xbox players, but we only get 40% of the game. Thanks for nothing and why the hell do we not have any graphics settings? Not even one. Has nothing to do with hardware, every game has Graphics settings. It really is a joke how they treat us xbox players.
Yes I noticed that too when I tried (and still) using the 737 max on the introductory mission for airline pilot in South Korea. My fps is so bad I can’t complete the mission. The plane also bobs up and down for some reason.
I also noticed when you use your controller and use the on screen cursor, the plane will attempt a barrel roll, unfortunately it led me and 117 passengers to perish. I have yet to complete that mission and I don’t want to anymore. I’m grounding myself until it’s safe to fly.
Same. But for all planes. Sometimes I can’t even see the runway until I basically land on it smh.
yeah view distance is a joke also blurry textures on xbox series s every time .. tested with different internet connections … on my PC with a GTX 960 4 gb i can run the sim on Mid settings .. xbox s is better than my PC (i7 4790 + GTX 960 4gb + 32 gb ram) and it looks lower than on Low settings on Potato PC
But but it’s the Xbox that’s just not capable and it’s just how it is now, that’s what some folk keep telling us. Yet we all know it shouldn’t be this bad, I would like to hear Asobo’s thoughts on this in a dev stream, as it’s clear something is wrong, currently it feels like Xbox users on this issue are just being ignored.
The draw distance is the no.1 issue on Xbox X. Not sure why Asobo/MS are not addressing it? Thought we might see some improvement after the latest patch but nothing. It’s very putting off. This is where FS2020 excels and main reason why I’m not uninstalling it. It makes FS24 look a decade old. Come on Asobo/MS, fix the draw distance now! Increase the detail level by a few miles. That will make it playable.
You speak as if an Xbox console can magically become a high-end PC with 64GB RAM 
The Series S even doesn’t meet the minimum RAM requirement for MSFS 2024.
Just purchased Microsoft Flight sim 2024 for my Xbox X. Aviator Edition.
Previously had MSFS 2020
I cant even fly this. The graphics are so bad. Draw distance is terrible. Flickering everywhere. No textures. Freezes and pausing.
What can I do to fix this? I don’t understand how it can be this bad. I spent $200 for this.
Is there something I am doing wrong here?? Do I need to fully download this somehow so it does not stream or is there a setting Im missing?

I’m an XSX user but haven’t purchased 2024 based on the reviews here.
I get a pretty good experience using 2020 on XSX and splashed out on the brilliant Just Flight Avro RJ instead.
I can’t see me moving to 2024 any time soon and possibly not ever as I’m not even completely sure that the mess that’s been made here is recoverable - something like this has been coming for a long time and there has been little if any proper support for COTS Xbox users for a long time (one CM told me that the dev team do use real Xboxes and that Jorg had one - but it’s difficult to see how they have spent even five minutes trying MSFS2024 on one, as many severe bugs would have been very evident)
I’m very sorry, that doesn’t help you much… Perhaps the best course of action would be to ask for a refund and then revisit the game in a year’s time? ( that’s when I may take another look at it)
All we get in the latest development update is “under investigation”. Will this ever be fixed?
