It does not mention .NET Framework specifically though, and now that makes me wonder. A few people have said they do not have this issue. I wonder if it is version related, if those people are correct.
I open the map then leave it open, and never have the issue. I guess the reverse is also true. If you open it at some point latter in the flight the sim crashes.
