New 'DLSS 4' (v310.1) is amazing in VR

I’ve not seen a stutter since I turned off OPXR. I am flying the ATR and the clarity flying into Southampton was the best I have seen in the sim

Maybe I did miss something, maybe I did get a couple of things running at the same time, who cares, 2020 currently is amazing

Get it! I will reduce to 72fps and monitor performance. However as it’s that good I don’t want to come back into the fold of being a ‘forum tweaker’’

No, it’s not related, I also get 2401 mbps even with the new DLSS, these things are completely unrelated.

This👆🏻 is what is was saying.

Oxrtk is great to get some more colors in the flightsim. Its not that bad…

Driver is here

I always ask the same question when I see people claiming “it’s smooth as silk” and then show a picture with over 70ms latency. I could not stand it when I tried Q3 over Virtual Desktop. How did you reduce it to acceptable levels below 40ms?

I’m sorry I don’t ever remember a question from yourself. Are you doubting my smooth as silk sim…
Someone is fuming

Trying to optimize based only on numbers is a fool’s errand, lol!

The main thing is to get the best resolution/clarity with smooth, stutter-free performance. Numbers can be useful when comparing settings, but that’s about all they are useful for imho.

I waited for it to just come in without swapping etc, and now it is here and the results are amazing. I am flying in VR with Pimax Crystal Light and a 3080. And the results are jaw dropping. Performance is great. Steam gauges and glass displays are clear. Cars have lost their ghost!

It is really nice to have some positive things happening in the sim. Thanks nVidia. Great job on this.

What do you mean with “without swapping”? Do we not need to use dlss swapper any more?

I have the same question. I just used the dlss swapper to revert my DLSS version to the original in anticipation of downloading/installing the new driver. Wondering if, after installing the newest driver, do I need to use the swapper to change the DLSS version? Or does the driver just take care of it. Note - using DDU to install the driver and NOT the nvidia app.

im not seeing the driver in nvidia app . didn t show up .

Officialy the new drivers are not yet released.
They will become visible in the app when Nvidia release them.

strange cuz its 4pm in my area and i already got an update from nvidia app but not the driver .

In the US it’s early in the morning.

PT is important not your local time.
I think the sale of the RTX 50XX should start in an hour or two.

My post was about latency of wireless signal between headset and PC, it has nothing to do with resolution, clarity or performance. So yes, I want to know how to reduce it below acceptable levels and this level for me is below 40ms. That’s why I asked AIRTIT directly, because most of Virtual Desktop fans don’t know what a good latency is.

First of all, you need a motherboard with a LAN of 2.5 Gb or higher, and you also need a router that has a 2.5 Gb output via a LAn port. And it is mandatory to have Wi-Fi 6 so that the connection is 2401 Mbps in VD, only after that there will be a delay of less than 40 ms. If there is a 1 GB LAN somewhere, then it will work very poorly.

Perfect! Someone who knows how to answer a simple question. My mobo has 2.5Gb port but router only 1.0Gb. Explains why I could not reduce the latency, no matter how low I went with graphics and bitrate.
