minimum amount of RAM for a new system in year 2022/23 is 32GIG and in my opinion its also the minimum to use MSFS without huge pageing, etc. ( MSFS can use 20gig an more ) . In case you can spend money for 64GIG, do it…

as @geloxo mentioned, MSFS use already a lot… most users only check the memory usage in taskmanager, but thats not the whole truth. You must check the commited memory too ( resourcemanager, or activate the columns in taskmanager detail tab ) - we have some topics ( working vs commited memory ). And because of these there are users with 32GIG RAM where the pagefile is highly used. As former mentioned, I have a 1gig pagefile only and that mean, nowhere is the slow disc-drive involved, all happ…
