Thanks for the feedback. For clarification, you are not seeing any night time OR Live Weather missions currently? The issue with no Live Weather missions appearing should have been resolved with the server-side fix deployed earlier today, and indeed I can confirm that I am seeing multiple red dot missions on my Career map (see the screenshot I posted a few minutes ago). Other users in this thread are also reporting that Live Weather is now restored in Career Mode. If you’re not seeing any Live Weather missions, can you try restarting your sim and reporting back?
So is the issue that there are zero night time missions appearing (either with or without Live Weather)?
There are just zero missions at night now, with or without red dots.
I filtered by all the specializations individually and looked at different areas of the world (I have every accessible airport unlocked) in Employee and Freelancer also. Live time except for Americas where it is currently daytime, so moved it to night.
I hovered over the mission types where I would expect SOME night missions (cargo transport - medium, charter service - vip, passenger - airliner) and no night missions, and you can see there are zero red dots here also (would expect some at least).

What is actually resolved is that the normal Cargo and VIP Missions have some “historical weather from daytime” now appearing. And thats good cause they all had the “vacuum without 1 cloud and no wind”. Thats at least good right now. But i also dont see any live missions now… the time is always daytime.
I’ve never had them. Flying MSFS2024 since it was launched. You sure you have seen them? I have no red dots at this time of the day ever. Thought it might get fixed at some point. Seems I was mistaken.
Anyway I’m flying an evening flight right now in Europe. It is real time; but was not marked as a red dot funnily enough.
I don’t see any real time missions for anything besides Passenger Transport (and none marked red in any category) at the moment in all of Europe.
Last 2-3 weeks of SU 4 the problem with the “zero weather” Missions began to appear slowly on the Cargo Missions here and there .. but there were some live mission here and there available. SU5 broke everything in this term from the beginning. So i stopped seeing night missions after release of SU 5 together witth the lack of historical daytime weather in VIP and Cargo Missions.
The live weather from daytime back is now back again in the sim thx to your server fix.
This is odd because the USA is coming into the daylight hours now and see, I have taken another screenshot now for you to see - the actual night time regions have none and a lot of weather happens in the evening and night particularly in heavy rainfall regions
Okay, so I understand this correctly, is all of this accurate to your experience?
In regions of the world where it is currently daytime hours, you are seeing Live Weather missions as expected (you said USA in your post, but your map shows red dot missions in both Canada and Mexico too).
In regions of the world where it is currently nighttime hours, no Live Weather missions are appearing.
Furthermore, missions that should take place at night are instead taking place in daytime.
Is all of that accurate based on what you are seeing?
Yes Seedy - apart from the fact I didnt screenshot Mexico and South America - Ill pop one in now - but also see the time I was referring to earlier - still 23.23 Now 19.31 on dear old Alexa!
1.- Live weather is now available worldwide for all missions, no matter the time you set, and the red dot appears when the current selected time (or live time) is around the mission start time.
As you can see, the first image is with time live and the mission #SCE2610 dont have red dot, but if I move the time slider to around 11:50 local time the red dot appears, this happen with any mission. (BTW, when it says “Refer to briefing” when you select the mission the weather is ok)
Thanks for all your responses. Here is the feedback I have sent to the dev team for investigation and resolution:
No Live Weather missions were appearing following the launch of SU5 last week. This is partially resolved with today’s server-side fix.
1a. Live Weather missions appear during local daylight hours only. If a region is currently in night time hours, then no missions with Live Weather will appear.
Night missions are not functioning properly. If a mission would occur during night time hours, it instead takes place in daylight.
Is all of this correct based on what you are seeing? If any of the information above is wrong, please let me know and I will update my report to the devs.
Also, I am still looking for information regarding when the bug with night time missions not working correctly began. Did this first start with the release of SU5 last week or only after today’s server-side fix for Live Weather missions? This is important to know as it lets the devs determine when the bug started occurring which helps with their troubleshooting.
Also note mission time, it should coincide with the time it is at night (ie current time unless slder is moved.
Now - slider moved to daytime - loads of red dot missions - still no night missions
Actually I just started a mission in Southern Africa, and even with the red dot missing I have now Wind in the Mission again, this was missing yesterday. But the mission is in daylight, even with the slider set to live.
I would say it started with SU5 that the might missions were missing, as I had none in the last days but definitely before.
Now 19.31 on dear old Alexa!
