Are you saying there is working night time mission?. VIP is still not working or medium cargo, no night time mission. Light cargo has never been night time mission.

I donāt know about night time but live weather is working now for me on all missions. Iām doing. Heavy cargo and it has weather etc
After this flight Iāll try find a night time mission somewhere dark Iāll report back if I find one if I donāt report back itās safe to say I didnāt find one

I didnāt find any night missions even going into dark places. The time still goes off my time

I will add even though there was weather I didnāt get any bad weather bonus or anything. But it may now be in with the payout who knows
I base pay was 14m and I come out with like 20m I got 20% for being a s rating and I think the rest was something to do with cargo being intact canāt remember

Should we open a new bug report regarding the total absence of night time missions?
Because for me not having any night mission is a bugā¦ whatās your opinion guys?

Same here. Right now, only in South America I get live weather. Most of my medium cargo missions have disappeared too.

To defray misunderstandings, hereās a friendly, but unofficial reminder as to what red dots mean and how they work:
Short version: the red dots indicate whether the time slider (including in āliveā mode) is set to a valid time within the mission itself. Thatās it - everything else is derived from that. So for example, if the slider is set to live and you have a red dot, then, yes, it means the mission is valid now, indeed ālive,ā but this is a specific use-case - it goes deeper.
If there is no red dot for the desired mission, move the time slider around and watch one show up when youāve selected a valid time in accordance with the mission parameters. Note that some mission types have looser valid times than others. The advanced map layers and weather depiction changes with the slider, using historical weather at the selected time within the past 24h. Use the presence of the red dot in conjunction with the slider and those layers and to preview the historical weather the sim will give you when you start the flight (or live if the slider is set to āliveā).
Note that this is not valid when bugs or server issues show up.

Well, it is sort of fixed. If you slide the time on the weather slider says back few hours, you get live weather. Is oxymoron. Sliding all the way to the right, you get no live weather. If you slide few hours back, you get live weather and more missions. In the US map, I have to slide back to 3 hours to get all red dot missions. In Europe, is 6 hours back you get live weather. Is dumb. Different regions, you need to move the time to different hours back. Is live weather but only few hours back.
Maybe thatās because many types of missions are clamped to a start time that will end the mission before nighttime. For most of the EU, thatād be 6-10 hours ago, for the US itād be 3 hours ago to an hour or so from now.
So set the slider back to those times and the dot appears.
The previous system on SU4 was much better, we had control on time for VIP mission, I enjoyed flying my area on real time
This has to be fixed and extended to passenger transport, or keeping the 2 systems, some mission are on preset time and some other are real-time

The Live Weather issue has been fixed for daytime missions. There are still no night missions anywhere in the world across specializations with or without Live Weather. The issue was acknowledged by the Community Manager on Monday but thereās been no update since then.

I think for what what ever reason they choose to not have fully live missions it needs looked into
yes I get that some people would never fly in the day if on live Iād say there from the USA but there aircraft is over Dubai but we should atleast have the choice to have live all over and historical as I mostly keep my flights in Europe where Iām from and I almost always fly around 9am on my days off and Iād like to be able to fly with real weather from around Europe and not weather thatās 6 hours old
And if I do end up flying later and my aircraft is somewhere dark Iād also like that option to do a full night flight with live weather
Obviously I know if a mission is due say 1400 out of Heathrow and Iām online then it should be live but they need to have it so missions around the world donāt have a set time but is flexible so we can all use live weather. Surely it canāt be hard to have a mixture of departure times at big cargo hubs etc or busy airports as in the real world this is what happens
