What the heck was tested in this sim or was there no testing and they were just going to let all the users find the bugs!

Description of the issue: EFB is unusable in VR, the miuse cant interact with the window (works great when EFB is “doxked” on the plane, but when its in window mode its unusable, cant click, cnat interact, cant move the window

Same here, people talk about putting in the bracket, it just sits there with no way to interact with it or move it, other than close it.
How do you put them in the brackets people talk about, and how can you remove them like in Diamond DA62 that blocks the front windshield, from seeing traffic.

• To clarify this is the floating EFB that you get from the toolbar or pressing TAB by default. It it NOT the EFB that sits “in world” in some aircraft like the C172 that is mounted in the virtual cockpit. Those EFBs DO work in VR.

There are two different “versions” of the EFB. The “standard” camera space UI which is simply a panel on your screen, like any other window, and an “in world” version which sits as a physical object in the virtual cockpit.
The latter work for me in VR, the former don’t. Not all aircraft have the latter though, in fact the only one I’ve seen so far is the C172 but I haven’t flown them all yet.

Come on, Asobo. How on earth did you QA miss such a basic of all VR features. Shame!

• Yes with all aircraft which use the ‘windowed’ EFB. The one mounted in some aircraft (e.g. default 172) is fine. But the window appears outside the aircraft and cannot be clicked with mouse or controller.

• Was hoping to use Navigraph in the interim… but they have launched their FS2024 integration as an in EFB application rather than a window.. D’oh!

still no access to EFB, and VR toolbar is so intermittent it ruins any extended VR flight. The EFB spawns outside the reach of the mouse. This seems to be an issue related to other mouse priority issues, such as wondering off the Sim window, and at times simply not working inside the cockpit.
This is a big problem, I’m having the issue as well. I can access any of the charts or nothing related to the EFB (TAB) I also wonder what type of testing was done in VR, looks like none as the Alpha was released without VR. Very disappointing.
None. And as you say the tech preview didn’t even have it enabled. It probably never even worked prior to that date which tells you even more.

Last night I was doing the CPL training in the career mode, and it kept asking me to use the stop watch on the EFB. I literally had to keep swapping in and out of VR mode to complete the mission - while flying. That was not fun.
yup, career mode is dead to me until they fix EFB and VR tool bar for VR use. Clearly no one tested this, or they know and didn’t take the time to fix this.
