That’s interesting and it doesn’t sound like a high quality design.
Excactly this problem usually occured only on the decades old and bent DC-9s in our company!
Luckily wheelcock isn’t simulated.

Luckily wheelcock isn’t simulated.
This problem occurs usually if the flight model is not set to modern and/or the joystick deadzone is too small.
Pretty much every aircraft from Airliners to GA that operate at high altitude and high speed will have such characteristics, the Citation X was real bad, we used Gurney Tabs on the Flaps to get it to fly straight.
The Latitude we just adjust trim tab’s, the Longitude we adjust Flaps and Trim Tabs.
I have heard of 20°+ Control Wheel Roll with Flap input on some Airliners.
I must have been lucky that I haven’t come across a single aircraft which had such extreme characteristics in my whole airline career.
A few of our 767s did require a tiny bit of aileron trim correction at cruise, but that’s all.
Not sure how other OEM’s do it but for us we resolve it in the first few Flights, once in the field in service the operators won’t notice it unless they have had control replacement ect..
But brand new built Aircraft usually have these worked out early on prior to Airworthiness issuance.
If it’s still in the community folder I would remove it.
Can’t wait to see what new updates this jet will have in the future
You mean in the sim or in real life?
In the sim
It won’t have any updates. Or at least not for five years or more. Asobo has more important things to do than update existing default aircraft.
I think it’s always been there.
What is the intake at the base of the vertical stabilizer for?
Forced Air through the Dorsal to pressurize the Tailcone in the case of loss of Bleed Air, the Duct check valves will open to allow Air in to the Bleed Air Ducts to help supply fresh air in the Cabin and help maintain some form of pressurization during emergency descent.
I disagree now that Working Title is working closely with Asobo. They can get the Longitude and the G3000 up to the standards that the CJ4 mod is.
I don’t consider the G3000 to be part of the Longitude, per se. It’s a separate software module in the sim. I’m talking about specific improvements to the Longitude. Like the HUD, for example.
Considering it is a premium deluxe aircraft one might hope for some improvement before 5 years!
Richard
I don’t think that’s relevant. Asobo will fix problems as dictated by the community. I don’t think Longitude improvements are even on the list.
