Virtual Desktop app lets you use your PC in VR - stream your desktop, play PC VR games, and run apps inside your headset.
So, if you don’t have a VR headset or don’t use the Virtual Desktop app, this issue doesn’t concern you. In any case, I’m sticking with the hotfix version 581.94 and won’t install the new driver, since the hotfix works fine.

I don’t use a VR headset for playing MSFS - actually, I don’t play in VR at all.
