Oculus Resolution, Render Scale, And All That

I believe the larger image is necessary to cater for the Oculus lens distortion - or so I think I have read elsewhere.

I think its the higher-than-native resolution which is needed to correct for the lens distortion

The remaining pixels are required for the correction profiles. Otherwise you would have a nice barrel distortion in view

Hi
I agree 120hz works best for me with a OQ2 and 3090.

80Hz refresh rate and the res slider full right works bests for me. Even with my rtx3090 I’ve never seen where 120Hz improves anything, esp. sims.
