Minneapolis to Billings KBIL ILS RW28R in the A320. Loving my new Octavi mini cockpit. Its amazing how much just having a knob for the radios improves the experience. Off to catch some
I’m really starting to question where I am with the Fenix A320. Planned and flew a near perfect flight from DC to MSP. The thing I’m frustrated about is that the last two flights have both ended in near disaster. As soon as I disconnect the AP to fly the approach the aircraft goes crazy. Sometime the ATHR acts like its disconnected but show as still in command. This last time the aircraft went immediately into a stall about about 800 AGL and dove for the river. I was able to save it and go around but in the process I got an A Locked warning and the airspeed was frozen at 140 knts. I flew the approach again and was able to get it back on to the ground without the airspeed indication. But I’m not sure if I should be proud of myself or really astoundingly P.O.'d at this simulator. You sit there for an hour executing a great flight and the sim just decides to.. I’m not really sure what happened there. And there comes my question for everyone. It would be nice to know after a flight what happened and why the aircraft departed from the norm. It is so difficult to know what is me and what is the sim. I tend to assume it was me but in this case. I’m not sure what would make the aircraft behave this way. Really a bummer.
Actually lined me up on 10L this time. In the PMDG737 it lined me up on 10R
