@mbucchia,
Thanks so much for your excellent efforts!! I am a little confused about what MSFS 2020 reports as its Render Scaling with NIS enabled.
What is the final viewed resolution for this Quest 2 example:
( I know that Quest2 Link issues is beyond your NIS process but is included here for Q2 owners )
=========================================================================
Oculus Native Physical LCD Resolution = 1832×1920 per eye resolution
PC Oculus Link Setup
Refresh 72Hz Refresh Rate with Render Resolution = 2708x2736 per eye
Oculus Debug Tool Setup
FOV-Tangent Multiplier = 0.75, 0.75
Resultant Resolution = 2032 x 2048 per eye
No NIS Scaler
Oculus ODT HUD Pixel Density = 2032 x 2048 per eye
MSFS 2020 VR Render Scaling @100 on slider = 2032 x 2048
NIS Scaler (ENABLED) set at 80% (1625 x 1638 ) and Sharpening=15%
Oculus ODT HUD Pixel Density = 2032 x 2048 per eye
NIS Config tool: Open XR Resolution = 2032 x 2048
MSFS 2020 VR Render Scaling @100 on slider = 1625 x 1638 << Is that correct?
