use the drone (Showcase view).

There is a setting called ‘HUD’ in one of the menus that disables the instruments in external view. I cannot remember if it is in General or Assistance, but you should be able to find it without too much trouble.

Hi there,
As shown by others in the forums, there is a way to hide those instruments while in external view, so I am closing this older topic.
