And Im sure grinding the ground crew up with you prop is as well ill-advised, but you can start your engine and ask for pushback and watch you groundman shave with the prop of your plane.
Totally agree with you, this should be part of a future update as it will increase the immersion factor by tenfold. The sim has already implemented few animated ground crews, so adding few passengers boarding or disembarking should not be any problem for the Great Asobo team!

I’d love this too. & passengers open the doors to extra layers of depth. For example,depending on the amount of satisfied customers you brought from one place to the next with a certain company ,new skins or even new aircraft would unlock,if say you serviced 10000 satisfied passengers ,a skin unlocks ,100000 a new type of aircraft or so.As the company’s reputation grows when passengers are happy & so does their gains & amount of customers ,which in turn allows them to expand & get new things

And customer satisfaction might also depend on the delay of a flight etc or how long it takes before they are able to board. So if you demand all the things while at a station ,fuel,electricity,baggage,.. it might take too long and impact passenger satisfaction in a negative way. Id love to be able to have a flight schedule linked to it too with expected time of depart/arrival.Could add extra challenge & would be a more rewarding experience while unlocking new skins & airplanes ,I think
Direct flights might have slightly more patient passengers on board than short flights or flights with stops in between(the options for landings in between final destination could improve too imo) due to passengers direct /indirect flights could evolve into something with more depth too
Also how you fly could affect passenger satifaction ,if you descent or climb too abruptly etc
This should happen as soon as possible, with an option for those who feel it might use up their precious frame rates to disable this if they would rather fly with empty planes and 100 fps!
Think this have been mentioned 2-3 times in the history of the forum.. Both being this great new sim of the future and with bone-animations an actual thing devs can use now. Why arent we seeing more passenger animations?
Would love to see actual passengers boarding or disembarking my airliner via the jet bridges or stairs maybe even with numbers matching set passenger number for the flight. Also in general ambient passenger animations in and around airports would add so much to the immersion..
I know this is way down there on most devs to-do list etc. both would just like to put the wish in the hat.
Bit late to this thread but its pretty easy to add boarding passengers as a bit of immersive decoration. I’ve done it to various airports. I agree though it would be great to have animated passengers as part of the boarding procedure. I suppose a lot of animated passengers would be quite a performance hit.
On a similar subject I’d love to be able to have a few backseat animated passengers in GA planes. I think its just a matter of time before someone does this.
It would be nice to have something native to the game, simulating passengers. Whether embarking, disembarking, releasing on-board service. I know that for PC there are addons but for xbox there is not.
I’d like to see passengers sliding down the exit slides after a water landing, or running from burning wreckage when I crash after flying into the core of a towering cumulonimbus (you know, just to see if I can control the plane in 100 knot updrafts and downdrafts.) I mean, that’s real immersion.
Oh, wait…we don’t get to play around in 100 knot updrafts/downdrafts. Never mind - unrealistic expectations.
