PC-24 is completely broken (Still broken on PC after Patch 3 1.2.7.0)

Cannot find any Pitot Heat Switches nor, and de ice/anti ice systems apart from windshield heat

My pitot keeps freezing up in the clouds, if it the system is automatic..it ain’t working…

I also now cannot seem to start engine number 1. Engine two starts up just fine, but 1 gets hung up and doesn’t ignite.

I had the same issue.

What I do is set the windshield to high, make sure bleed is on both and turn IPS (Ice Protection System?) to to man give it a moment and your airspeed will come back

The engine not starting in career mode just started happening to me today…

Skipping to ready to taxi causes NAV to not work as you mentioned before..

Super frustrating!

Thanks- whenever I can get the one engine to start now i will try that.

May be coincidence but clicking on right engine cover and doing Shift-C to enter plane (not clicking door) allows me to start engines

Followed said work around to get engines running in Career mode, but on the last two flights on final my number 2 engine quits, enough fuel etc.

Tried in Free Flight mode, can start both engines manually, and everything worked perfect.

BUT ended up still have engine number 2 quit on me on final

the PC-24 was working fine a few days ago but today it completely refuses to light the engines. the ignition temperature stays at 6 degrees and never rises. very annoying. what has changed?

Here is a great video going over some performance of the PC24, a bit monotone but getting numbers that I can’t do in the sim. rotate at 97 with flaps 8*, Vref of 94, approach at 105, down and stopped in 3600ft and fuel burn of 900lbs/hr in cruise.

in-game the red stall bar on the speed tape is pretty much at 105 (full flaps gear down), but that may be because the speeds were copy-pasted from the PC-12 (see discussion above).

I just did a quick flight, no weight on board other than the default 2 pilots @ 180lbs, just under 1/3 fuel. so just about best case scenario.

Tried to rotate at 97 like the video and was able to but immediately got the aural stall warning. flew an approach between 105-110 IAS, the nose is 5ish deg up with over 6* nose up trim to maintain that speed, full flaps, gear down. from the default camera position you cannot see the runway in this configuration.

As you flare you get the aural stall warning again and some float over the runway almost having to force it down. Once the mains touched I let the nose come down on its own which took about 2/3 the 6000ft runway to do so. definitely doesn’t feel right IMO, but having never flown the real PC24 I can’t say for sure only going off videos online in which it seems to fly amazing.

Extending ground spoilers helps with nose down after landing, together with brakes it makes the nose go down pretty fast. But because this games makes it so stupid I never land with such high trim settings.

I had spoilers out, just wanted to see how long it would take to come down on its own. If I didn’t have the trim set to where it was I would be fighting the airplane the whole approach which isnt correct

When I fly cargo missions with it I force the nose down to get steering but I shouldn’t have to. It should come down on its own especially with the spoilers deployed

Yeah its not very accurate. Carenado needs to adjust it, i remember my first flight in it and thinking how weird it felt going as slow as we were compared to the size of the jet.

I was not saying it’s correct, I merely mentioned my “procedure” for handling this particular issue.
To be honest most of the planes require a secondary set of checklists to deal with the bugs :stuck_out_tongue:

this floating along the runway just before touchdown have to be fixed!

Too much airspeed?

No, the right speed as the performance of the jet requiers. The problem is, that the jet goes in a long float along the runway. Its reported multiple times in this forum.

New issue discovered today. It appears the throttle axis is now broken.

Works on other aircraft

Increase/decrease throttle keyboard still works

Solved my problem: I detected the issue, that the throttle axis, suddenly does not work, cause by reverse throttle activated. deactivate reverse and it should mwork again. But this happened in Cesna 172, too.

Now i detected it is an issue with my X-56 Throttle Hardware. It is an old problem: [SOLVED] HOTAS X56 throttle causes "ghost inputs" - #24 by CenTurion071602
