PC keeps crashing

yep… a not nice feture of msfs and I call it a bug

But this should not let crash your application if your system is stable ( on other side some users reports a crash if they stay for some minutes in the main menu ).

In generaly it means: your GPU run in full load and AMD card becomes very hot, in special if you have not a “big tower”. Therefore, as said, possible check temperatures ( you can do this also with help of taskmanager ).

You can open you pc-case and check whether the crash happens “later”… this might be also a hint that a component overheads.

If you go directly into the flight, does it takes longer till the crash happens ?

Ps: reboot is also more what happens if components overhead

flickering still happening even after turning freesync off.

just went to download msi afterburner and the screen flickered and stopped working and then the pc reset. ugh lol. this is without the sim even running.

many error entries in the event viewer–any specific type i should be looking for?

oh… not expected that… I hope there is not a hardware issue.

there are some users for which MSI-Afterburen cause issues, but thought it was the older version , not the 4.6.3.
You not have enabled some “Auto-Tuning”, “Auto-Performance”, **** settings ?

Otherwise simple open Taskmananger and click on GPU. You should can see the temp of GPU.
