Great to hear! Regarding VDGS, there should be no conflict but I will check on some other airports and get back to you!
V1.1 is out! But cannot find a changelog anywhere?
As far as I can tell from iniBuilds (still pretty vague though) is that it is now 2024 compatable.
Still not 2024 compatible according to Atelic-the update was for those using MSFS 2020.
The update to 1.1 is now available on the Contrail app. The thing is it makes no mention of 2024 compatibility the change log only says minor tweaks and pushback tug fixes. So 2024 compatible well who knows?
ORBX seems to be dragging their heels also as I believe all Pyreegue airports are now compatible and are shown as such on Contrail. The only airport in my ORBX collection that shows 2024 available is Brussels.
Iām getting a bit miffed about this as different vendors seem to give different and sometimes conflicting information.
The problem is that they need to report the FS24 compatibility to the stores. For example SoFly LWOH was marked as compatible on Contrail but I bought it on SimMarket and there it was still in MSFS2020 category only. So I contacted SoFly and they reported it to SimMarket and next day it was in their FS24 compatible addons. The stores also probably lost contact with some developers who quit the business or whatever and then only their own internal testing comes to action. And I guess thatās a matter of human resources. From my experience Contrail is the best in this sense, Orbx the worst. SimMarket and IniStore somewhere in the middle.
I donāt think Pyreegue are updating their airports on OrbX, due to an issue. You should be able to transfer them to Contrail and update them from there.
Oh right thanks for that. Iāve already transferred some to contrail as I find the interface a bit more to my liking. Iāll look to shift as many as I can I think.
What issue?
I think Pyreegue and Orbx had a fall out over something. Orbx no longer sell Pyreegue. I just transferred EGPF and EGAA over to Contrail.
The link if you need to transfer and you use Contrail.
Hi all. The info about compatibility is unfortunately correct. As the 2024 still lacks the function to disable default streamed airports (I tried today and it was not availible), the airport is currently not compatible with the 2024 version.
If you have it installed with the default airport, there will be multiple bumps on the runway and additional errors caused by this.
The update changelog is below:
Small fixes
Fixed lead-in lights
Added FUN VOR model and nearby building.
Resolved water artifacts
Fixed default 3D pushback tug issues
If any of you have any additional questions, feel free to ask here or send us an email to support@atelic.eu
Wishing great pre-christmas season to everybody!
Havenāt IiniBuilds found and disclosed to the community a workaround for this?
tested this after purchasing from orbx, where it did list 2024, or so i thought it did,
in 2024 i have cliffs on the runway so to speak, giant rifts/bumps going across the runway in two locations.
Im assuming this is a known issue, so not compatible even still, despite it showing 2024 on the listing? I must have misread thinking it said 2024, or thought maybe there was an update to the last post
You need to disable the Asobo airport as it happens when there is a conflict.
Hello,
I still have the issue with terrain, please can you be more specific where to find this folder to delete? thanks
If youāre referring to the Asobo hand-crafted Funchal, I believe it was included in the Spain/Portugal World Update some time ago. To locate the airport, and get rid without deleting the entire update, go to your content manager and start a search (I suggest typing āLPMAā). Once youāve located the airport, simply delete it (just the airport, nothing else), then close and restart the sim.
Hi, you should give proper attention to Xbox users as well, there are many on YouTube complaining and myself included about this scenario, many problems with terrain, terminal etc. need a fix, after spending 22 euros I expect to be able to use a product properly, I certainly donāt keep it broken like this after throwing money away, I hope you understand that.
I didnāt install any other third-party airport, neither lvfr traffic, nor world update nor Asobo base airport which on console is not in the content manager and you donāt have the possibility therefore to delete it.
Hi,
We appreciate your feedback and completely understand your frustration. We want to assure you that we are actively working on a fix in collaboration with the Asobo team. However, since Xbox currently lacks the option to disable default airports, weāre unsure if we will be able to fully resolve the issue.
That said, we have tested the fix with a few Xbox users, and the results appeared to be better than what was shown in the screenshots. We are doing everything we can to find a proper solution as soon as possible.
Thank you for your patience and support - we will keep you updated on any progress.
