I have now passed that screen but this is what it did or does look like.

But it is not possible that you still had not removed this function … But you read our messages … Still hours to wait to be able to use your PC

I want to play something else while I wait for the MSFS update but when I press A button on my xbox360 gamepad a browser tab opens on my browser because MSFS still listens for my gamepad actions even it has been minimized or its window is out of focus. It doesn’t matter if I play fullscreen or not it still opens new tabs when I click A button and because of this I can’t play anything else with my gamepad while msfs updates itself.

This issue still happens. Every time you have MSFS minimized, updating in background and out of focus, that thing registers your buttons in a Xbox controller while you play other games and open a new browser tab every time, making the PC becoming sluggish.
tl;dr: disable xbox controller inputs to open web links while on update screen!
