I just want to confirm I have the right WTT packages for the RV-10 (and the RV-14) from SWS.
The folder names begin with sws-pms50… instead of the usual pms50-gtn750wtt… for all other planes.
Is that correct? If so, what is the reason for the different naming scheme for SWS aircraft?
The names are correct.
Just a question of alphabetic order and package priority in the communityy folder.
OK, but all the others begin with pms50-gtn750wtt. For example:
pms50-gtn750wtt-aircraft-bksq-bonanza

The sim loads the package in an alphabetic order by default. As the SWS offical packages starts with a “S”, we have to set a package name that will be loaded after the SWS offical ones in order to override its files. Using a “p” as first letter will not work here.

Using the paid version of PMS GTN750 in 182RG and C337. In neither plane does traffic work on traffic page or Map page (GPS one),
I can take off at KJFK with lots of real time live traffic and at 500 feet altitude, the traffic will appear for about 3 seconds, then disappear. If I go to outside view, them back in cockpit, traffic shows but moves across the display very quickly, then disappears. Multiplayer is off and I am on East server, but have tried others, with the same outcome.
The stock units behave as expected. I have uninstalled, deleted, and re-installed the game last night, That did not fix it.
Any ideas?

Really? Nice to know it’s not just me. I’m gonna post this on PMS50 support and see if I can get a response.
That speedy update is a kind of sync thing, from here it was inside before you went outside then where it is when you went back inside. I’ve seen it with live traffic since release.
After 30 mins in the air and encountering many different traffic, this is how it behaves. Nothing shows on TCAS page until changing views, and then only briefly
Yep…happens to me as well. Thought it was just me.
According to their Discord, it must be just you and me. They said they will look into it. They were very responsive on Discord.
We’ll rebuild the traffic layer for the next release. That should fix your issue.

So if you install the latest GNS GTN750 in conjunction with the Velocity XL you get some upgraded/updated features on the G3X? Is this an upcoming functionality or already available?
Already available. You need also the additional WTT package for the Velocity XL.

Saying that, the G3X keeps the same user interface, we have just changed the map and the flight planner and AP manager that are now the WT ones.
Just try it. You don’t need the GTN750 premium version unless you want advanced feature.

Maybe I misunderstood what this does, but when I have the latest (free, 2.1.93) GTN750 plus this Velocity XL In-cockpit WTT Mode package, my G3X displays are off (black screen). I thought this allows you to use the G3X with some upgraded features at the same time as the GTN750?
I have both of these folders in my community folder:
pms50-instrument-gtn750
pms50-gtn750WTT-aircraft-bksq-velocityxl
When I have only the first folder, both the G3X and GTN750 work fine and can share the flight plan.
